Getting more shooters around the core was a mission going into this off-season and it's good to see the Cavs have addressed that... Bennett and now Karasev will add a lot more space for Waiters and Irving to create and will give them some good kick-out options as well..
The thing that I really like about Karasev is that he's been so productive at such a young age and that he's more than a shooter... He's not a slasher but he'll get into the lane and is aggressive... He's not going to hang out at the 3PT line; he's a good passer, can handle some and will put it on the floor..
Really excited to see him in action and coming off the bench...

Somewhere between Toni Kokoc, Alexi Shved and Marko Jaric. He can run an offense or play off the ball, great wingspan and length. The key is his shooting, but he is much more than that. The problem will be defense, and I don't know if American weight training will fix it or not. At worst, solid rotational swingman.

I liken Karasev to a mix of Klay Thompson and 'Thunder' Dan Majerle. And I LOVE the pick. Darn surprised we got him at #19.

Damn, one of my favorite parts of the offseason has become the Summer League and being able to watch the new rookies play for the first time on the team. With him being back and Russia and Bennett's injury I guess we'll just see Dion drop 25 each game.

Yeah, it'll be Dion and Tyler just like last year. Hopefully they're both a LOT better. I'm gonna go to SL and am bummer I won't get to see either new guy.

He won me over with his "I hope Cleveland fans like me. I am a nice guy. We will enjoy time together." Sounded like a 4 year old saying it too.
I can't stand Euros and this guy is goofy looking. Two major downsides for me, but we will see. :chuckles:
