Karasev has a ton of talent, but he's clearly not ready for non-garbage NBA minutes at this point in time. Let him get his work in in practice and the D-League this year, like we should have been doing with Bennett.

It's too bad for this year though, I was always curious how the ball the movement would have been if we'd try a Dion, Karasev, Delly lineup. The three best passers together would have been fun to watch

Can you imagine a Dion-Delly-Karasev-Deng-Varejao lineup?
That would be one of the most fun passing lineups of all time. They're all flexible offense players that are everywhere on the court. They'd put on an assist clinic for the entire league.

The Cavaliers are still pushing for a trade before the deadline... I'm guessing Karasev will be unleashed when the roster gets another shakeup.

Get him in the rotation so this kid is ready for big minutes next year. NoW that the playoffs are a dream, time to develop the young guys ASAP. Him and Bennett should be a fixture for 25 minutes plus every night!

The Miles hot streak is well.. Miles behind us now. He needs to be buried at the end of the bench yucking it up with Clark and Jack. Play the young guys serious minutes from here on out.

Play the kid. The more he plays today, the more he is prepared in 2015. I would not rule him out as the starting 2g next year, if he can finally get some burn I know he will look bad at time and make a ton of errors, but why not get those errors out of the way this year, since winning games is not the main goal anymore.

It'd be funny if the "Major roster moves in next 3 weeks" was nothing more than trading off our fodder for picks to clear room to get Sergey some meaningful minutes.

Honestly, that is the type of move I'd rather see made. Swap Jack for Karasev. Find a nice rotation player in return, adding Clark, Gee, Miles etc to make salaries work.

I think Karasev, Irving, and Dion could be a really solid group.
