Yes. Building the type of team that Kyrie won't hesitate to leave in a few years. Need to dump Andy for future picks and hope they get a star in 2013.

I actually really like the Zeller pick. Seriously a perfect fit with us. Also I believe with Kyrie on his team he will get a ton of open looks.

How much you guys want to be Big Z scouted and had influence on this guy??? He marched in the war room when he slided and said Draft me all over again!! To be honest I can see his celling around big Z At 7 foot with a shot like that will not be asy for teams to stop. However In the NBA he is the weeden of players at 22, I hate it and I love the pick.

Here's a video with some of his offensive moves. The jumper has very nice form. Should be pretty reliable.

I have mixed feelings on this pick. I don't care about giving up the other picks, but I am just unsure on Zeller. If he can become a GOOD (not okay or serviceable), but GOOD mid-range shooter, I am good with him. We need that out of him with Tristan at PF and two penetrating guards. He shoots well from the FT line so that is a good sign, but I honestly have no idea how good his jumper is. It seemed every time I watched UNC, he was another dirty work type player similar to AV and TT.

My main concerns:

1) He is white. (yes I went there. I am sick of having white centers)

2) Who is the last senior to come to the NBA and make a big impact?

He had a true shooting percentage of .616% last season for UNC. TSP is a measure of efficiency that takes into account all types of shots.

He shot 80% from the FT line and had an actual FG% of .553%...

He's got range out to about 15-18 feet and has some nice post moves. He's going to be a very solid player. Not a superstar or franchise cornerstone, but he could be a contributor on a very good team, no question.

He's much more skilled than Tyler Hansbrough.

It will be interesting to monitor the careers of Jonas V and Zeller. Additionally, I think the Cavs really do regret passing on Jonas last year and thus made sure they landed Zeller.

Sure workouts can tell you some things.

However, these guys are scouted going back to AAU ball. Every college game they ever play is on tape and watchable for scouts and front offices.

I guess I'd feel a whole lot better about both picks if Grant and co had worked out either one of these guys... I dunno, once leading up to the draft.
