Another missed layup by Waiters, nothing to see here

Nah. 5 point lead on the road against the best team in the league? Who the fuck cares about that?

Eventually Dion will hit those easy layups. That's the good news. He really can get to the rim, though. If he trusts his ability to finish, he'll be be scary good.

Pass the fucking ball Gee.

Exactly why gee is a bench player. He's so bad on the fast break unless he's recieving the pass just a terrible fundamental player and has a terrible feel for tempo. Love his defense and rebounding ability, but besides that he's a spot up jump shooter and very average around the rim.

OMG at the thunder/bobcats score...

(64-24 at the half)

The sooner we draft/sign a capable forward that sends Gee to the bench as our sixth man, the better.

Samuels was awful out there.

Man Waiters misses some of the easiest layups I've ever seen. He gets right to the rack and can't fucking finish

I agree. I'm chalking (or chocking?) it up to being a rookie. I am sure it is difficult to adjust to those big guys in the NBA. I know I struggle with floaters and layups when a guy enters the pickup game who is tall and knows how to block. Even when he's not necessarily in position to block me it gets in my head. Can't imagine going against multiple 6'10+ players every night.

LMFAO

On another unrelated note, Damian Lillard is 0-12 so far tonight. Yikes.

Some ugly stuff going on in the league tonight. Bobcats about the finish the first half with something like 25 points. Lillard currently 0-12. Hide the children.

He's so good JJ Hickson has a better +/- :p

The Waiters layup stuff is annoying but I just don't think he is used to have multiple 7footers on every team he faces. Once he figures out how to adjust those will drop.

Why does this team play so much better without kyrie this season?

4th game in a row now they have been playing excellent team ball.

They aren't better without him, but man does the offense and defense look better.

He's been an iso player so far this season on offense and his defense is absolutely putrid.

He better be taking notes on the bench. For the crazy scoring numbers he's put up so far this season, he's been hurting us just as much as he's helped us.

Waiters started 2-3

Now 2-7

Ugh

Dion waiters is cursed with having to take bad shots at the end of shot clocks. He's another youngster yet to have the ability to play within the tempo of the game, we he accidentally does he's very scary. I love his ability to get to the rim and shoot off screens. Shots will fall and he will be a good scorer in this league.

Hickson is coming off of 14/13 and 19/10 in his last 2 games.

I would take that right now on the Cavs.

I saw JJ put up games where he had 30 points and 15 rebounds. I never want him back.

Dion was better playing with Gibson in the 1st quarter than with Pargo in the 2nd quarter. Seems like it's in part because Pargo can be ball dominant and also because Waiters is still learning to play a real 2G position. Waiters also got caught with the ball at some bad moments and had no choice but to force. No excuse or missing that late layup, though. He's still learning but showed some good signs and bad.

If I were Byron Scott, I would rather play Zeller with 3 PFs in the first half than give Samuels those minutes to show why he doesn't play. If Zeller picks up a 4th or fouls out, well then, he fouls out eventually.
