You live and die with Kevin Love's defense because we need him getting better at that end. We also need him, going forward, to make plays in crunch time.

I've said this before; if am Love am going straight to Griffin and Gilbert, and I leave the room knowing it won't ever happen again.

What kind of message is this sending to Love or more importantly his teammates ?

That we want to win games?
After Love himself said that he would even mop floors if it helped the team win...

I don't really give a rats ass that much about winning this game. It's a meaningless game to me. It's nice to win (it's November, losing a few games won't kill us), but establishing a cohesive unit is more important to me.

But the fact our coach can't install trust in his all-star power forward, on a good night, in the fourth quarter is bizarre to me.

Kevin is only human, he'll be a good teammate about it, but stuff like that can't sit well with him.

Again, I would always stick to what is bringing the bacon.

Love doesn't seem too worked up about it, hugging Blatt and laughing with his team mates.

You play to win the game of basketball, not to win the game of principle.

yup. this team isn't winning a title without love. we've already seen the evidence. you have to find something that works. when kyrie gets back i'd love to see him experiment with LBJ at 5 and Love at 4 (if LBJ allows blatt to coach him)
