1. RCF Will Be In Flux For a few. I'm going as fast as I can correcting issues. We should be good to go by Monday. Sorry you have to deal with this bland board until then.

    Game Preview

    What to Watch:

    1. Rookie Matchups: Dion Waiters vs. Damian Lillard. Given that Dion has spent time at both guard positions with Kyrie's injury, I think it's plausible that we will see the two rookie guards dual each other. If we see more of the facilitating Dion that we saw last night, we should be in a good place regarding this game. Also, Tyler Zeller vs. Meyers Leonard could be an interesting battle off of the bench. I've been very happy and encouraged based on what I've continued to see out of Zeller in his limited minutes this season.

    2. Frontcourt Bigs Battle: I'd expect to see Andy go after LaMarcus Aldridge while Tristan and J.J. battle against each other. Can Andy keep up his torrid rebounding numbers? This will be a good battle for Tristan against J.J., since Hickson is likely playing the undersized center role. It's also interesting because Hickson is playing against his replacement.

    3. Bench Scoring: Who will step up off of the bench? Gibson has played well in spurts, but the oft-injured guard can be inconsistent if he's not playing at full strength. Can we rely on Casspi? Miles?

Im expecting a tough game from Portland. they are amidst a rut and should be looking to play hard tonight. This is certainly a game the Cavs are quite capable of winning.

Their starting center and leading rebounder is JJ Hickson. They rank 29th in the league in rebounding. Sounds like another field day on the boards for our favorite Brazilian :)

I don't know what I want to see more, Dion destroy Lilliard or Tristan destroy JJ

If Gee has another 6 TO's we won't get lucky.

Listening to Fred & AC talk the last 2 games has me thinking Kyrie is ready to play but in no way are they rushing it back.....rather be in tankish mode.

None of the Cavs next 8 games are against teams over .500, and 5 of them are at home, and after that Kyrie will be back in the lineup. Call me a homer, but I think this will be the second game of a big step forward in the standings for the Cavs.

Thanks Rap, I appreciate that. After all of the time I put into creating composite images for my previous game day thread only for it to be minimized anyways, I figured I'd go for a more basic approach.

Also, I've got a huge presentation Friday and lots of dissertation stuff I'm working on. So, I was a little crunched for time.

I'm upset you're not including "THE SERBIAN ASSASSIN" in your 'What to Watch for' segment. :chuckles:

I always understood Sasha as sort of the de facto leader of the assassin group rather than being the assassin himself. You know, the one with the "connections" to "make his problems go away." :chuckles:

How can the blazers only be 6-10, they have way too much talent

Their bench sucks, just as ours hehe (But we have 3 productive bench players - their only good bench player is Leonard)

Kyrie vs Lillard would be awesome. Hope Dion kills him anyway

It's pretty sad that, however awful our bench is, they still average twice as many points per game than the Blazers bench.

Can't believe Portland's record is that bad.

Need a good Andy showcase here and make a deal for LA :chuckles:
