Game 32 -|- Cavs @ Nets -|- Saturday, December 29th, 7:30PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What gets me mad is when you are playing man to man defense what you do is based off of effort. Kyrie gets beat time after time and it pisses me off. Either he puts forth no effort on defense or his lateral quickness is just terrible.

OK, after this injury to Andy I'm all for skipping Shabazz for the best available big in the draft

Kyrie drink too much last night?

Zeller's effort on D is castrating us

We've seen this for 2 years now.

Kyrie is lazy. He gets by on natural talent, but puts in very little effort as far as his conditioning/fitness go. It is why he gets gassed alot, and saves his energy for offense by just not even trying on defense.

Until he shows a willingness to pay the price and put in the work functionally he is no different to this organization than a Monte Ellis type that is only interested in playing offense. They aren't the kind of guys you win with when push comes to shove. As the best player on the team it sets a poor example for others.

We love him because he is our guy, but it doesn't change the facts about what he is right now.

A bit over the top, but I get what you're saying.

Except like way better on offense than monta or other chucker types. But I agree he needs to work on defense a ton.

The cavs have some kind of conspiracy where they don't make open shots when Kyrie assists the ball to them.

Sounds to me like there are a decent number of Cavs fans in Brooklyn

Ah damnit. Zeller's lack of D has boosted Brook Lopez's FG% so high that the dude in 2nd place in my Fantasy league is about to overtake my spot.

Fuck.

I don't care what people say, I LOVE The way Thompson has played tonight. He's attacking every single rebound with force. It's a minor miracle the game is this close with as many easy shots as they've been given.
