that was a hell of a play by thompson until smith blocked the hell out of him.

That play kind of summed up Tristan Thompson's career thus far. Huge potential. Highly athletic. Everyone excited. Blocked at the rim.

Smart play there by Tristan. Normally he would have two handed dunked the ball (and been blocked) but he knew the other bigs were close and he put up the easy lay up.

He's learning....

Man I love me some Tristan Thompson. And lollercopters at Josh Smith. That guy can be so good and so bad.

My question: Where were the other Cavs on that? That's our big man, racing out to the three point line to beat everyone to the ball, then fast-breaking to the rim...and on other Cav makes it to half-court? Lazy.

I kind of want the Cavs to aggressively pursue Josh Smith just on the off chance that LeBron comes back. I'm pretty sure some of the oops we'd see would destroy the world. Plus Smith/James/Thompson on defense would be terrifying.

Tristan Thompson...maybe one day he'll be good.

I dont see how you cant be impressed by thompson by now..
big off the bench my butt

10 points, 9 rebounds at the half. If only he were Kawhi Leonard...

I think Thompson has to either play with a center who can hit jumpers or be me moved to center and partnered with a power forward who has more of an outside game to maximize his effectiveness. Just look at how much better he's been since he got put next to Zeller, who serves more of a pick and pop role.

can everyone just admit TT was the right pick now???

guy is going to be a solid starting PF for years in this league

So, Cavs played pretty hard on defense. They played smart, too. They didn't challenge Josh Smith on the perimeter and let him take as many open jumpers as he wanted. If he hits them, he hits them. but make him shoot them.

Lackadaisical, great word use Tristan.
