Losing tonight would mean that finishing tied for 6th (and thus ending up with a pre-lottery slot as high as 7 or 8) is off the table. Losing would strengthen the Cavs chances to finish at #3 (or tied for #3). A loss would make tying-for-5th the Cavs ceiling (and 6 their highest pre-lottery slot).

If the Cavs win tonight, they could still finish anywhere, pre-lottery, between 3 and 8. But they would need more help from other teams, and there would be various ties to settle in the NBA's random drawing on Friday to grab a better slot.

Whatever happens tonight, Thursday's game is going to be just as important, although it will likely feel even more important (for potentially different reasons) by the time we get there.

Kyrie Irving is sick, BScott said. He is doubtful for tonight.

BScott said he got a call from team trainer this morning that Kyrie was under the weather. Donald Sloan will start if KI cannot play vs Wiz.

Irving is only possible lineup change.

Hopefully we can pull off the exact opposite of the Miracle at Richfield.

I hope that people rush the court if we lose epically.

really REALLY wish this game was in Washington.
 
If it is a close game in the 4th quarter and you see a guy at the game biting his nails, face palming every time Jamison makes a shot, and silently and discretely fist pumping every time the Wiz score...... that is me.
 
Why only sit Kyrie? If you're going to tank then why play Jamison, Parker and Gee?






Also, can Jigo please tell us what gastroenteritis is with a gif?
