Game Thread 2018-19 Season Game #29 | Cleveland Cavaliers vs Milwaukee Bucks | December 14th, 2018

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sextons been given plenty of minutes and he’s been awful.

That's true but wouldn't a good coach realize that he is having a problem with Bledsoe and try to adjust his minutes to get Sexton on the floor when Bledsoe is resting?

This team is just too good for us. Not a team we can beat.

Its crazy how Larry Drew doesn't understand that developing our young guys is how he gets this job long term, not winning games.
It's not even like the way we're playing right now is going to give Sexton some real insight, we have actually fallen behind by more since Sexton was pulled.
It's weird it's like Drew thinks there is some value in being the 5th or 6th worst team instead of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, and is going to play his vets to get/stay there.

Sexton was a team low -18. Delly is putting a giant spot light on Sextons deficiency’s

I know Sexton was bad tonight but gotta play him down the stretch...no reason not too...are we trying to win or develope young guys?

Leaving Sexton in when he's shooting lights out is one thing, but tonight he was 2/11 with 1 assist. Rookie or not, that's not a performance one wants from a PG, nor one that demands more minutes.

I'm not saying he should play instead of Delly, I'm saying he should play instead of Clarkson who adds nothing to the team in close games.
Clarkson has no future with this team and isn't capable of teaching Sexton anything useful by playing over him except what mot to do.

I believe we'd like to trade Clarkson and Hood. Not going to do that if they sit on the bench.

Needs to learn how to run a team badly... When his shot is not falling he doesn't affect anything else positively... It's bad when teams leading assist guys are TT and now Nance

That falls on the coaching staff. Give Sexton some plays to run instead of handing the ball to Hood, Cedi, and Clarkson to ISO.

Sexton plays with blinders on. The passing instinct just isn't there yet. Hopefully our next coach can develop him into a true PG.

He does but that isn't a reason to not install plays and call them out for him to run. You can't expect to build his vision up with no structure or playbook.

Bucks is too good right now. No love or a big in the paint.

The team played really well. No surprise Sexton had ahard time. They beat the shit out of him. Milwaukee is really really good and long and big . Denied him at the basket. He will see the open guys on the perimeter when he watches tape.

Gianni's is 7 feet tall.

Nance should have started on him. No reason for Cedi to guard him and Lopez . We have 3 hurt bigs and it's amazing they even competed tonight. The bucks got all the rebounds.

I agree most of the time that young players should be left in. They were getting dominated tonight
