Good TV Shows

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
In the case of TV shows you can skip, count in the lasted season of Californication. That was a complete embarrassment and a waste of time. A shame really, the first few season were pretty good.

The excact same thing happened to Entourage. Started off as a great show, ended up as a shitty one.

To the History Channels folks: You should check out Rome. Really great show, and the historical accuracy is supposed to be very good. The same thing can be said about John Adams from 2008 as well. That's the best mini-series I've seen since Band of Brothers. It's maybe even better.

I'm not in the norm here at all.

I watch "The Big Bang Theory", "Castle", and a bunch of educational shows on the History Channel and National Geographic. I guess I'm getting too old.

My favorite sitcom.

Spartacus is awesome. One of my favorite shows. It starts back up in a week with a new season.

The first season was epic.. first series I really got into.. Shame the lead died. I made it a couple episodes in to whatever they put out next but wasn't feeling it as much. Are they going to pick the first storyline back up?

I loves Spartacus season 1. Really developed a crush on the blonde hottie Ilithyia. I watched Gods of the Arena as well and enjoyed that. Fell out of touch with the show when it stopped showing up on Netflix. Is the next season worth trying to find online?

oh yaaaa that girl is gorgeous. wasn't she real fucked up too?

Sounds like you don't realize that they have already put out 3 different sets of episodes. The original 13 episode Spartacus: Blood and Sands, the 6 episode prequel Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (the one you didn't like), then this past season's 10 episode Spartacus: Vengeance. Vengeance picked up where Blood and Sands finished. You really need to catch up on this past seasons action. Otherwise, you are going to have a jump in continuity.

I really do miss Andy Whitfield. Saddened by his loss. In addition to having to replace him, they also replaced Naevia with a new actress. Don't have any information on why they replaced her. Otherwise, it is the same cast plus some additional characters.

Really great show.

Ya know, I dont think Whitfield was phenominal. As far as I remember, the series revolved around his storyline but his character didnt have to do much of the heavy lifting.. almost in a matrix sort of fashion. Its been a couple years since I've seen it though, I could be wrong.

And its also been long enough for me to just think everyone is new again and will lessen the blow of hcaracters being replaced. Is Vengeance good? FINALLY started getting into Sons of Anarchy, going to make another effort at Game of Thrones, and then this would keep me busy for awhile.

I thought it was. But, I also like the 6 episodes that you didn't. Give it a shot. If you can't get into, you can always stop watching.

I really just had trouble getting into the third season. I loved the first season and the prequel second season. The third just didn't seem to be as interesting, and I don't really think it had anything to do with replacing the lead actor unless it was subconsciously.

My favorite sitcom.

I always hear how funny Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother are. But I just can't get into a show with a laugh track that was produced after 1995. It may as well be in black and white.

You probably just miss Batiatus. He was such a well acted part. Anyways, Jack, did you watch as far as episode 5? It may well be my favorite of the 3rd season. I thought the 3rd season got better as it went along. But, it was certainly different from the previous two.

I'm exactly the same way. I just can't stand laugh tracks any more. I hate a show telling me when to laugh, and most laugh tracks laugh at everything, even stuff that isn't remotely funny.

Honestly, I don't even remember how far I got. I'm sure at some point I'll go back and re-watch the entire season over a week or two.

And yeah, it may have been the lack of Batiatus. He was a fantastic character and very well-acted. It's really hard to put my finger on exactly why I didn't really get into the third season. There's nothing in my mind that sticks out as being terrible or anything like that. I just know that I was totally invested in the first season and the prequel second season, but just wasn't in season three.

HIMYM used to be funny and entertaining. Now it seems like they're just dragging it on before they reveal who the mother is. At this point, I'm pot committed to the show. Don't necessarily find it entertaining anymore, but have to continue watching to find out who Ted ends up with.

Throw in Shark tank, 2.5 men, Modern Family and New Girl and you have my "old man" watch list too.

Big Bang is the funniest sitcom on network since Seinfeld. How I met Your Mother jumped a huge ass Shark 2 seasons ago or so. I still watch, but that is because I am too damn invested on meeting the wife.
