Greatest Moments Since 1964

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My personal favorite is the series against the Yankees in 07. Midge gate :chuckle:

Too young to really remember much of the 90s teams, I do remember bits and pieces though.

Also when we dropped 20+ on the Yanks, I was living in Boston at the time and they made a local commercial out of us killing the Yankees :chuckle:

It was pretty awesome starting every season wondering if they'd make it to the Series or just the ALCS.

Favorite Indian (Albert Belle) moments...

Belle freight training Fernando Vina at 2nd base
Jason Grimsley crawling through the HVAC system in Chicago to retrieve Belle's corked bat
Belle chasing kids down with his pickup truck on Halloween.
Belle throwing a ball at a fan's chest during warm ups.

I'm sure there are more but it's early in the AM and I can't recall them all.

There is one from the World Series with Atlanta. The umps basically were giving Maddux his usual "foot outside" strike zone. He had been pitching around Albert. So, Mr Belle reached out for a ball that was well out of the strike zone and drove a rope into the stands just inside the foul pole. I loved the effect on how Maddux pitched to him after that. He pretty much scared the shit out of him. Albert was such a great hitter back then.

Eddie Murray stepping towards the mound and challenging Greg Maddux (i think) was pretty sweet. Just remembered that.

Hersheiser catching the line drive and doubling the runner off at first, then going batshit was pretty cool.

There was a Kenny Lofton walkoff during that 1994 season that lead to me hearing my parents having sex for the first time.

That was memorable.

Edit: And I just found the game...

Friday, April 29th, 1994 at 11:04 pm was the first and only time I ever heard my parents having sex.

Kenny hit the home run. I ran to my parents bedroom to ask my dad if he'd seen it. I heard a sound that sounded like the washing machine hitting the wall because it was off balance. Halfway down the hall, I realized it was a headboard.

I was 10.

The day i found out Fausto Carmona's name was a stolen identity.

Just an awesome experience

I do remember the news doing some dumb lines as "Squish the fish" crap. I thought it was dumb and funny so it holds dear. However my favorite moment win or lose going to the games with GG also know as "Great Grandma" Anyways she loved Carlos Baerga and she would always shout when he came up. "HERE WE GO CARLOOOOSSSS" Oh man I will never forget my first Indians game I ever went to because of that line.
