then millions, MILLIONS of people will not consider this trilogy canon, and Halo 3 will be the true ending. Fuck 343 Industries. I almost stopped playing the game for good after that ending. No multiplayer, nothing. Bullshit garbage ending.

Response in white because of spoilers: Total bullshit. Did you really think Chief and Cortana would last forever? This was possibly the best halo game to date based on the story and it actually showed some emotion from Chief. AI's deteriorate after 7 years, Cortana was in commission for 8. Sorry, there was nothing that could be done. Now, coming into Halo 5, Chief is experiencing a low point throughout the series and is sort of lost. Perfect time to open it up, and they did an excellent job.
