Winks. It's big, it's downtown, it's right off the highway and they have giant TVs everywhere. Just sayin.

Damn! If the opening game weren't on a Thursday and instead on a Friday or Saturday, I would definitely come home from college for the weekend to make this watch party. It's not the same watching it where I am with a bunch of bandwagon fans in my hall's lounge area.

Downtown it is. I just sent an email to a rep for Winking Lizard (who may be able to help with Winks)

From what I'm told, they do not do reservations and depending on if people are going to tweet/facebook etc. about it. I told them this would be discussed on social media. The more the merrier. But I have one major question....


Who's bringing the doughnuts? Krispy Kremes and Dunkin Doughnuts!

Just a word of warning about the Winking Lizard downtown. Im guessing it will be packed wall to wall. I work across the street from it... Some days even at lunch it is hard to find a seat. Couldnt even walk IN the place during the Black Keys concert a couple years ago. This event will be bigger than that. The energy will be truly amazing, but if you want to enjoy actually watching the game... It will be tough... And forget about finding a seat. I could be wrong, but from past experiences that is what i expect.

Really wish I could be there with you all! Will be watching opening night at home in Long Beach, CA on my TV via the ballstreams subscription I got a month ago on the advice of a lot of RCF'rs.

Try sushi 86 on Prospect near the Q. get it a couple a times a week and it's always been awesome.

I'm assuming that the answer will be 20+ or should I assume it's 30+. And I am assuming that everyone will be ordering and drinking. I just want to get this straight before I respond.
