How to post Tables

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Thanks a bunch for this.

However, do you think there could be any way to post an excel spreadsheet? Without typing it all out by hand?

Nevermind, I figured I would open the spreadsheet, print preview, print screen, copy it to paint, cut it out, save that cut out as a .bmp, upload it to imageshack, then link to it as an image in my post.

I was just going to say that a screen shot would probably be the easiest. Nice that you figured it out.

Yeah, I figured that out a while ago, but it was driving me crazy because I could've SWORN there was a way to post tables and charts.

Then I saw this thread and I'm like oh, that's way harder

Ben or Glen, is there a way I can change the color of my table headers?

I know there is a way to do it, but I'm too lazy to figure it out at this point. Do we have a shortcut for changing the color of our tables, gentlemen?

Copy the code from the original post and add in what you want for the table.

Press quote on the original, and the code is there for the taking.

Did that answer your question...not sure I understand.

Douglar is the table guru. :chuckles:

I asked glen, and apparently there's no way to change the color of the header for the tables with the vbulletin code. You could do it by doing basic html, but I've decided against it due to the amount of typing it would require me to do it.

Ahhh...I didn't realize Rab was responding to you X. I click on "new posts" when I come here, and it went right to rab's post. As you can see from the quote in my post, he left out the word color. I thought he was just looking for a shortcut to post tables... :chuckles:

Just trying to make different color tables, so just testing it out.

How's|This
For|You?

HTML:
<table><tr><th>Stuff</th></tr></table>

... And I can't do it... I want to make a regular table with a red header, but I don't know what X meant by basic html being used... So frustrating...

I don't know, I think that was what Glen told me, but apparently you can't do it at all.

Glen... Ben, whenever you guys notice this, it would be nice so I can have a little red to my tables. I abuse the poor things and they need color!

This will come in handy for those of you who like to post stats or what not.

Here is an example...

Points|Rebounds|Assists
31.5|8.2|7.4
28.3|7.1|5.5

Press "Quote" and you can see the code.

Hi, guys. This table code structure no longer seems to work in the new format of vbulletin. Rabman is probably experiencing apoplexy. :chuckles: (jk, Rab) Is there a new way to post tables now? Thanks.
