Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Shump should've been more aggressive offensively. I really enjoyed his offense against the Hawks, seemed like he was finally getting his confidence up. Maybe he got a bit nervous form the finals, I think/hope he'll be a lot better in game 2.
If Kyrie won't play, both Shump and JR will have to play almost perfect in order to tie the series.

Is it just me, or does he miss nearly all of his running jumpers or jumpers off a stop? Seems to have a way better efficiency just shooting a somewhat contested three that he has planted and ready to go.

That was a terrible possession with no one under the rim. A pullup in transition like he's Curry. He had his opportunities though.

With all the national publicity and how well Shump's been playing on defense this series I wouldn't be surprised if he starts making All-NBA Defensive teams next year.

His jump shot hasn't been falling against GS, but he's had most of his best offensive games at home this postseason. I'm expecting some big bounce performances from Shump in Games 3 & 4.

Was slightly worried about when he was favoring the groin during the game at one point.

Came up big in OT with that three and really good D. Nice knockaway to never give GS a shot to win it from half-court at the end too.

Delly deserves all the credit in the world for his consistent half court defense, but don't sleep on Shumpert in transition defense. Utterly elite.

EDIT: That's why I wasn't posting during the game. I hate posting from a new phone.

I'd like to see a little more offense efficiency out of Shump. He had a rough shooting night game 2. That being said, his defense has been excellent throughout the post season.

I'm hoping a little home cooking will get Shump and Jr back in their shooting groove (hopefully JR in defensive awareness as well). I think the shock factor of playing in the finals has worn off, so those opening jitters should be gone. The warriors have been really good on the road in the playoffs, so getting extra offensive production from these guys will be a big boost.

I might be wrong, but I saw that and I thought Thompson gave him a good crack on the nuts in the previous play. Not cool, but hopefully he didn't reaggravate it.

Holy shit, that was actually pretty damn good! I think I might have to check out some more of music, that was surprisingly ill :chuckle:

Loved it! Shump is actually a decent rapper, and it's great to see the other side of our guys, especially when they bring their profession full circle and relate their lyrics back to parts of the game.

Very cool!
