Iman Shumpert: Gone! Thank God!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think this guy will fit well in our starting lineup. But with Shumpert being out a short time yet still, it's starting to feel like the next week or so of Cavs basketball is totally insignificant. About half of the main rotation will be different in a week or two. Let's just take our lumps out west and get it over with and then hit the reset button this season. Hopefully we hit a groove come playoff time.

I like Shump.

I am not sure about him being a 3 & D guy now but he can develop into one in future but what he provides is some much and I mean, much needed defense. Like others have said, the athleticism and height is also welcome as Shump can guard anyone from 1-3 from the opposition which would help LeBron and Kyrie.

Ok, that's good enough for me.

I was calling for a Dion for Shumpert straight trade at the start of the season. Thanks for the extra shooter and pick basketball Jesus.

In terms of being a defensive 2-guard playing next to a scoring PG, I'm curious to see if Shumpert is to the Cavs what Sefolosha was to the Thunder a few years ago.

Shumpert. Funny name.

He can defend, when he wants to. I bet he will be told score when open and his main purpose is to defend. We have enough scorers already plus another guy off the bench that is going to throw up shots like his life depended on it.

Just worried with how massive of a trade, player wise is, the time it takes them all to gel with possibly another move for a big coming couldn't have come at a poor time (record wise)
