In Memoriam: 2010-2014 Cleveland Cavaliers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
One of my favorite stories was the one where Manny Harris wore a soaking wet sock into the cryo-therapy machine at the Nike facility in Portland.

Poor guy was trying to make it in the league, and a lapse in judgement gives him a freezer burn on his foot that lasted like two weeks :chuckle:

How could they forget Lester Hudson?!?

If I would've put all of the ten day contract guys on there the video would have been another two minutes long. Seth Curry, Jawad Williams, DJ Kennedy, Ben Uzoh, Mychael Thompson etc...

Lester Hudson and Leon Powe were the two major omissions I made in my opinion.

Watching that video makes me wonder why we even had expectations these past few years...

I do miss Mo, Alonzo, and Zeller though.

Baron Davis was a real leader the couple months he was here. Good soldier.

He's like the only positive from the first year after LeBron left. Before that, the team was an absolute shitshow.

I don't like you doing Wiggins like that, but good video. I will always have a soft spot for Hollins and Baron for the way they played that one time we beat Miami....

My description of the video on YT was a look back at the Cavaliers that helped paved the position on where we are today. Without Wiggins, we don't get Love.

I don't post much, but I got my lurk on through the years. I remember being irrationally excited the day Christian Eyenga showed up to camp two inches taller, like manna from heaven. It was a simpler time.

This is the greatest Cavs-related video of all time. So many memories.

P.S Alonzo 3G/Geed Up From The Feet Up/Zo-Train/Gee was the embodiment of the 2010-2014 era.

Legend.

The Alabama Slamma

I saw Gee at a gym once, putting on a kids camp. he looked at me and smiled. the end.

Miss these times. There's seething about watching a bad team grow that I really enjoy. The Walton, Livingston, Speights, Ellington bench era was very exciting. Hudsanity was cool. I had myself convinced in 2011 that gee was going to be a ball star. And oh yea, baron davis is still my favorite cavs point guard if all time. That last 2 months of the season with him was awesome. He made the team to exciting, ran the point is well.

The best, always the best part, was every time one of these scrubs joined the team the board would collectively talk itself into that player being a contributor. Semih Erden was going to find his place here. Manny Harris was a real steal in the 2nd round and so on. It's what you had to do to remain sane while watching that shit product.
Manny harris was an undrafted free agent.. The best undrafted player of that class I may add :p. Him and samardo were both the steals of the undrafted players that year :)
