Israeli Cavs/Blatt fans meetup?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I personally prefer the bulgarian version..

Yes those sweaty things you get full of feta and spinach at Bulgarian gas stations are perfection!

And this thread is the best thing that's ever happened.

Is there no bourekas in the US?

I've never been to Israel, so it must be for me to have had it. :chuckle:

@Man Called X, not much left to say. You have a description and pictures.

The dough is crispy on the outside and the cheese or potatoes inside are cheesy and potato-y.

I personally think they're incredible if made right. They're a lot like samosas that are part of Indian cuisine, but smaller.

One of my favorite foods.

You actually made me want some. I'm gonna buy some.

I'm jealous. The only place I really ever get them is from my cousin in Cleveland who married an Israeli and cooks all Kosher foods.

Haha she should sell it in a Bourekas Stand. Bet it would catch like fire in a gas station

She lives in Beechwood near the Orthodox Jews. There actually might be something to it considering the long journeys all of them make to Temple, shuffling hungrily along the streets.

I wonder if she gets it from Corky and Lenny's on Chagrin?

Great Jewish deli .... I grew up in the area and that's where everyone went.

She makes it.

C&L is great though. Only place I've been that gives a free pickle platter.

I think coaching in the euroleague gives a better insight than coaching in the NCAA. Coaching young adults and coaching adults are 2 totally different things.

NBA coaches have to find a way to motivate and lead multimillionaires with guaranteed contracts who've been told all their life how great they are - yet often lack fundamentals because most players are drafted and paid based on potential rather than rewarded for performance.

That's another area where coaches coming from the NBA system have an advantage, and coaches looking to enter from outside it, need to figure out how to adapt.

It looks like Joe Alexander is on a very cheap contract compared to NBA standards, so, the situation is very simple. Either he steps up his game and figures out how to contribute to the team, or Maccabi will go find someone else.

Since this is in Hebrew, I think the best place to put it is here.

Great interview with Neven Spahija, Atlanta's assistant coach and former Maccabi coach.
Gives an excellent and honest perspective about the transition from Euroleague to NBA.
Talks a bit about Blatt as well.

Do they have them there? after looking at the wikipedia page, I think I need to try them and I live pretty close to C&L's.... I wonder if there are any better places that I could get them near Cain Park, there's a large Orthodox Jew community there as well and I'm a grad student at Case so it's right there.
