Jameer Nelson Safari

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Haywood isn't going to do much better for us than this. We can still do a buy-out for another big.

Who wants to see Delly getting big minutes if Kyrie goes down?

Now, if were talking about safari's, if Amare is bought out, should we bring that one back up?

Would love to be part of it this time.

I said as soon as a buyout for Amar'e was first discussed, You reopen that thread so we can finish that fucker off the right way.

As long as we get updates from Wine and Gold about his dinner and going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, I am all for the deja vu trip.

Protects team against Irving injury, which this year's championship pursuit could not survive. Hope it happens.

Same emotionally turbulent personality as Mo Gotti, but more introverted and a considerably lower ceiling in play ability.

Jameer Nelson makes 0 sense for this team.

Haywood's contract has more value than this. Seems shortsighted or potentially driven by limiting Cavs' expenditures moving forward.

Alarmed that Cavaliers FO thinks Nelson is the answer to any of our problems.

I absolutely agree with this. I do not want to waste any of our limited resources on his acquisition. I would much rather wait and see if we can finally complete The Great Amare Safari from 2009. That would be an epic conclusion of greatness. To finally bag our prey. :chuckle:

I feel like Nelson is a slight upgrade (and I'm not even convinced of that) over the scrap heap guys on the open market or guys that are returning from China. Plus Nelson is a poor shooter, why would we need a Pg who can't shoot? Why not just sign a guy to play backup PG instead of trading anything for the same caliber of player?

I literally have no idea why we would trade Haywood's valuable contract for him. It makes as much sense as signing Ray Allen to our last remaining roster spot.

You just epitomized everything I've ever believed in. Couldn't have said it better myself.

I actually think Amare has no place on this team. Do we really need another scoring big man? I'd rather have one that plays defense, if Mozgov gets hurt or in foul trouble this team is fucked.

Yeah, we do need another big man. We are screwed either way in a playoff series of Mozgov fouls out or in foul trouble. Amare or KG at least gives us depth.

Please get Dalembert and be done with making moves. Team is looking great right now. Literally all we need is a fourth big man.

Amare gives you nothing on defense. I'm all for adding a big, just get one who can alter some shots. I'm all for Dalembert or JO.
