Joe "Captain America" Harris

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm totally going to go with George on this one. I don't think we need to go get more guy who create their own shot, but I think we really only realistically have 3 as Kevin Love needs the assist. 2 in the starting lineup that seem to be jiving right now, and a 3rd off the bench.

I don't think trading Dion for a 3 and D guy is just not sexy, I think it seriously limits our window for contention in the next 3 years. We need some young guys with high upside and guys like Harris and Delly who can fit in and complement those guys. We need both. Trading a dollar for a dime isn't going to get us anywhere except in the short term. Plus, it looks like Harris is probably our 3 and D guy who will not need tons of development. He looks ready to contribute far more than Karasev did last year.

Hard to believe we are having this discussion all over the forum today when we saw what a lack of talent will do for 4 years. Now people are worrying we have too much?

Our window of contention has ZERO to do with Dion. If Love signs long term, then our window of contention is however long we have Love and Irving. Role players and 6th men have nothing to do with that.

Gotcha chief

Harris has been a monster tonight.

Steal of the draft in my opinion so far.

This is the 2nd time he played closing minutes over Dion.

Something to watch. I'm rooting for Dion but Smokin' Dro Harris is really looking the part in terms of IQ.

And his drawn foul and 3 were huge.

Well I'd be surprised I'd be if hasn't taking Miller's spot after tonight. If he keeps playing like this Dion is going to be on the trading block as well

+18 last game, +24 this game.... Wow.

Those numbers are extremely misleading. Now, I think hes playing well don't get me wrong.

For instance tonight - He checked in and then Kyrie proceeded to score 12 in the span of like 2 minutes single-handedly. Anyway, it is blatant that a floor spacer that plays some defense and knows his role on offense is paramount for this team. Dion is on his way out.

Remember when everybody was mad at Blatt because he "never plays rookies", and everybody thought Harris would never play. Well, what about now.

When did this ever happen and who was saying this? What rookies are the even to play this evening? We have only played a handful of games... Weak straw man if I've ever seen one

It's only misleading in the sense that much of his +/- could be chalked up as being the anti Mike Miller. Dion was nothing to write home about but at least he tried on defense. Miller was just awful.

I literally never saw anyone say either of these things. I'm not really sure what you're crowing about.

Dion has been on the trading block for the past 4 months. Dion has much value to this team and if he's traded, the Cavs will need much more than Delly and Harris to fill his shoes.. Don't forget, Kyrie will take his annual vacation on the DL.

He's like the shooting guard version of Delly. Makes smart plays and plays excellent defense. It doesn't hurt that his stroke is gorgeous either.

He plays defense and can shoot the three. With LBJ and KI on the court this is EXACTLY what this team needs.

He knows where to be, where to go and when to shoot.

They should really try starting him. Like stated above, let Marion take some of Lebrons minutes.
