It looked like he was having some issues with overthrows at the Shrine Bowl practices, when I was fixated on him. I was pretty quite pleased to see Skelton, Kafka, and D. Clark on the same squad for this game, as those three are a few guys I'd guess the Browns to look at.

IIRC Walrus mentioned something about how he drafted young offensive players, and signed veteran defensive players; and how he thought he did it backwards. I could see him going defense two out of our first three picks, and then look for a developing QB prospect in the 3rd-4th rounds. THis is where a guy like Skelton might find his name being called. I'm not sure if any team will draft him in the second round; however, all bets are off if he has a lights-out combine.

From what I've seen, he has the potential to be a decent starting NFL qb-although probably not next year...with our squad. Kafka is starting to grow on me; however, he seems to have that jekyll/hyde thing going on with his desicion-making. Sixth round flyer as of today.

Okay we've seen the highlights now what about the lowlights?

So Quinn gets another year after the abysmial playing he does but DA (whom had a decent/mediocre) 2007 was to be run out of town?

Both QBs we have are garbage. Also Skelton is invited to the combine. If he has a good combine and pro-day he could go in the second.

Flacco was being talked as a second - third rounder before his combine and pro-day. Heck a lot of people were saying Brian Brohm was the best QB in that class (in march of 2008).

To be fair, Skelton is being heralded as a fourth or fifth prior to the combine, or at least that's they said during the Shrine Bowl.

Are you really going to try and tell us Quinn got the same shake as Anderson?

One has 30+ starts, leaving a lot to be desired unless they're playing the worst teams in the league.

The other has 10+ starts, the majority of which came with ZERO talent on offense.

I'd certainly say Anderson proved he isn't capable of developing much further, Quinn at least deserves one final chance to prove he can.

I'll take any QB over what we got now, but that isnt saying much because all they have to do is complete a pass that is 20 yards or deeper..

Anderson had 4 starts going into the 2007 season. Go back and read what I said. After the 2007 season a majority of the fans wanted DA gone despite his only starting 19 games total.

Quinn has 14 games played (I think 8 started). Still he is in his 4th season (this up coming one) and we still don't know if he can be a viable option at QB. My point is DA started 15 games in his 3rd season and had a scott mitchellesque run. So my question is why did we want to run DA out of town yet Quinn gets more time (even though DA might have looked better in 2007?) I am going to preface this by saying after the 2007 season when a lot of fans wanted DA gone.

Point is we gave DA 19 games he won 10 out of 15 in 2007 and we turned on him.

Quinn won 3 games total as a starter and we want to keep him? (3 games in 14 vs 10 in 15).

Who knew quarterbacks won games all by themselves?

8-9 career record would be among the best in recent Browns history.

And it would mean they made it to the playoffs if it was in one season!!!

He is too skinny to be Heman and too fat to be Skeletor !!! NEXT !!!!
