So members of the press are saying it would be a good ideal for Manziel to talk to them? Not sure i've ever read somethimg so transparantly self-serving. It's essentially blackmail at this point: "Either talk to us, or we'll keep writing horrible stuff about you until you do."

I'd be disappointed if he gave them what they want. I hope he continues stiffing them.

To the extent anyone believes he needs to talk to other players on the team, he may already have done that. If not, then there's no reason he can't have those conversations in the locker room or elsewhere rather than in front of the press.

Really it's not hard to keep writing horrible stuff about him. Manziel provides more than enough material there.

It's all good as long as Johnny doesn't care that people think he's an alcoholic cokehead. What I do know, though, is that the narrative will be that his problems are in the way of his success. He doesn't owe anyone any words, but that isn't going to stop the negative press. It's all good if he doesn't care, though. Judging by getting ticked at a fan, he cares.
