Jon Heyman: Biogenesis penalties could be handed down w/in 10 gms

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was just something I heard on a BS Report and waa thinking about...are we really to believe that this Biogenesis is the only place that is providing drugs to athletes? They need to keep searching out clinics, etc.

I doubt MLB is in any hurry to produce similar stories to Biogenesis.

They need to present a united front between the league and the union, approaching the new CBA together to eradicate the problem. Something they should of done 15 years ago, but lets just ignore the fact they're late to the party and praise them for showing up at all.

Now, if only the NFL would get some pub on this issue.

So A-Rod had quite the dramatic performance today.

Then proceeded to go on Francesa and look absurdly petulant.

Good times.

That Passan couldn't tweet the facts without adding a potshot is all that you need to know about how accurately he is willing to portray any news here. At least he's not pulling the shit that Selena Roberts did today.

He's not the only reporter taking shots at A-Rod, they all are or have at some point. And rightfully so..

A-Rod not being someone most people want to hang out with is not a reason he deserve to be getting unbiased reporting.

I'm pretty sure they're referring to his ever evolving story, clown show theatrics and undermining of the CBA.

Yes, ARod is right- MLB is just out to get him. Never mind if he is actually guilty or not, they are making an example out of him and he doesn't like it. Everyone is to blame but ARod, and he doesn't want to face the consequences. The saddest part is that this is more about money than legacy, regardless of what he says, because this suspension threatens his contract with what, 100m+ left on it? I just have to laugh at it though because he already played the 'come clean'
act once and played it like a champ. Now that this was exposed as complete bullshit he doesn't know what to do.

Wait, what?

Have you not been paying attention to this circus he's putting on pretending to not be guilty and pretending to be above the game?

He needs to grow a sac, man up, and just admit it already.

All he's done it make everything 100x worse for himself every time he opens his mouth. He's bringing it on himself.

A-Rod gives up his suit against...well, just about everyone.

Will accept his 2014 suspension.

The story behind the story: Alex Rodriguez doesn't have to make statements under oath during any litigation process stemming from the lawsuits.

Go figure...

And the Yankees win again. Great.

And the Yankees win again. Great.

They win? How? By having Kelly Johnson at 3b? You would rather see an unrepentant cheat get 25m instead? Yankees didn't 'win' anything, they will always be the team that looked the other way when handing ARod that huge deal- which came after he was originally caught using steroids by the Mitchell Report.

Plus they still owe him like $61M after his suspension is up.

Great job making sure those contracts are guaranteed no matter what!

It's more like 67 or 73 million because I would assume he will hit 6 more homers and even 60 more homers over 3 years isn't even much of a stretch.

If Selig isn't going to have to make any statements under oath, then I don't see why A-Rod should either. It was a witch-hunt and he was never going to be given even a chance to win. It's just sad that so many people can't see the damage that MLB is doing to the game because it's much more fun to hate on Rodriguez.
