Josh Gordon discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I love Gordon too, and you lock up a franchise WR like him always, regardless of the legal stuff.

However, I'll be interested to see how quickly the tide turns on this board when he holds out next summer, which is a mortal, lead-pipe lock.

Just rehashing my statement a while ago that I would boycott this team if they ever traded the guy.

Not worried about him leaving IF we find a franchise QB. Thinking people will wanna play with a contender. Just have to find a damn QB...

And to be apart of taking the Browns to their first Super Bowl and winning it for the city of CLE.

That team will be able to shit in the street and get away with it if they bring a championship here.

I would literally pimp out my own mother to the entire team for that to happen...

Kidding... But seriously...

Just kidding... Probably.

Pipe dream = find a solid QB with 2nd first rounder... then....

-If Gordon gets 125 yards receiving on Sunday, he will tie the NFL record for consecutive games with 125+ yards receiving.

-Only Calvin Johnson has more consecutive games with 5+ catches, 125+ yards, & a TD in NFL history. Gordon can tie him if he does it again Sunday.

Would need 565 yards to set the all-time season record. Could've happened if not for the suspension.

The yards for his TD receptions are ridiculous.

12 out of 13 have gone for 20+ yards.

10 for 30+ yards.

7 for 40+ yards.

5 for 60+ yards.

4 for 70+ yards.

It can still happen. Gordon is ballin'

Remember how bad the passing game was for his suspension? Shows what happens when you spread the floor.

Ok...

If you knew you could get a good to very good WR in this coming draft, would you trade Josh Gordon for Matthew Stafford? Same question then for Nick Foles.

No and No.

Another first rounder though? That's a tough decision.

I'd rather have both of those guys than another first rounder. You hope your first rounders pan out to be guys that good.

And Funke...Stafford overrated compared to what? I feel like he's rarely in the conversation for top Quarterbacks even though statistically he is one.

I agree with Funke. The keyword above is statistically. It's not very hard to throw a jumpball to the largest, most talented receiver in all of football.

He hasn't had it when it counts nor does he have the ability to carry a team to the playoffs by himself.
