Josh Gordon discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
he said the guys in the locker room are going to make winning happen and not the coaches

He thinks QB's should "stop running" when they get to the NFL. Says they could do it bout doesn't think they should run as much in the pros.

What I took from that is he wouldn't want to play with Johnny Manziel. :)

Maybe a guy more like Bridgewater who posses the ability to run when needed like an Aaron Rodgers but is a pocket QB like an Aaron Rodgers.

He picked the Broncos because Peyton is incredible. Skip asked if he wanted to play with Peyton. Gordon laughed it off saying he wouldn't go that far.

Stephen A asked about the Browns and how bad they've been. Asked when we'll ever turn it around. Gordon said the fans are ready, the players are ready. He thinks it could happen next year. It's about the players being ready and winning games in spite of the coaching carousel. The coaches won't win games, it's up to the players to.

When asked if he was the best in the game, he said he's exactly where he wants to be right now with his development and with more experience and work he can be the best.

When asked about his maturation and his troubles he said he and his family sat down and talked it through. He's come a long way and he had a trip up with this season's suspension, but he's on the right path and he realizes he's out of chances. He won't mess up again or he might not even get hired back into the league.

Then they asked him about RGIII from their days at Baylor together and he stood up for him. Said he wasn't ready to start this season, and said he needs to stop running. "Have you seen these DLineman in the NFL? They real." When asked if he'd like to play with Griffin, he said "Pffft, me and Griff on the same team. Man..."

That was the end of it.

he also made it known that he only has one more chance and he wants to work hard to be the best wide receiver in the game! glad he is a Brown...could be the best offensive player in the game (not counting Quarterbacks)

I watch this kid and maybe I'm a fool but I really truly feel like he finally gets the opportunity in front of him. I hope so because this kid has all the tools to become a monster and seems like he is ready and willing to accept coaching/mentoring. Le'ts keep our fingers crossed.

I get a boner just thinking about the combination of Bridgewater to Gordon. We would easily have the best quarterback/receiver combination in the AFC North.

Too bad we're Cleveland, thus keeping it a fantasy forever.

It's nice Hoyer is driving everyone to see the Super Bowl this weekend.

Oh he meant playing in the Super Bowl? LOL

GO AHEAD AND IGNORE TWO GAMES OF MEDIOCRITY. GO AHEAD.

Here's the video of him on First Take if you haven't seen it. I was very impressed with him. He made me very excited for next season and it seems like he has his priorities straight.

Probably the best highlight film I found for this past season, here's to a quiet & productive off season for Flash.
