Josh Gordon discussion

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It was... old. See the other thread not dedicated to Josh Gordon for the Sheard update. :conf (11):
I'm aware. Just regurgitating in here as it was relevant to Keys' post.

Love the headlines that said "Gordon says he will 'tear this league up'". Without clicking on the story, you'd think he just said that to the media. In fact, it was a pre-season quote to a teammate before the suspension, and it was in reference to weight loss.

Thanks media!

We can expect to see Desmond Trufant on Josh Gordon this weekend. As a rookie last year, Desmond Trufant was ranked as the 7th best cornerback in the NFL by PFF. And you best not go questioning PFF!!!!

Doesnt matter who is guarding Gordon if he plays like last year or anywhere in the ballpark...thats how special he is

and they can shadow Gordon all game with Trufant because Gabriel and Hawkins are more than capable of having big days against the weak Falcons pass defense

Josh Gordon had his 8th career game with 120+ yards receiving, breaking a tie with Webster Slaughter for #1 in Browns history. He's played in 31 career games.

It's his 9th 100+ yd receiving game, tying him with Ozzie Newsome for 5th all time in Browns history.

It's crazy how good this guy is. If he gets his head on straight and stops missing games, he's the best receiver in football. He's passed Calvin in my mind.

He has phenomenal hands and his size/speed are off the charts. Those short routes to Gordan are basically a gimme first down every time. I also can't remember a guy who makes end arounds look so easy. Not to mention how much he opens the run game just being on the field.

He's Hoyer's best friend right now because physical lines have shown just how vulnerable this offense is when we aren't running the ball.

He also has a friggin cannon of an arm :chuckle:

Amazing, dude has not played in a year and was easily the best player on the field today for either team.

Makes you wonder what some of those guys from yesteryear would have done in such a pass-favoring environment. Webster not only had to deal with being jammed at the line on every play and physical jostling downthe field, too. Ozzie even more so. Hell, wat would Bernie be in a game that actually protected the QB?

I know football, pretty well I think. With that said, I never played.

Is it crazy to be so impressed with how solid he looked today? Dude has been off REAL game action for nearly one year. Sure there was miscommunications, but he looked as good as always.

Hall of fame talent....honestly he is a top 10 talent in the whole league
