Gordon suspension reduced to 10, 12 if convicted of DWI

In a vacuum this might mean something.

Unfortunately, this is just another bump in the road for a guy who has been riddled with these types of problems for 4 years.

The only way I keep Gordon on this team is if he publicly announces (on his own volition) that he's checking into rehab, and quitting all drugs and alcohol cold turkey. Then people might take him seriously. But I don't think he has the willpower to do it.

It's a drastic measure, but the kid keeps getting into trouble. I don't think Gordon sees his career as worth it to make that kind of sacrifice and commitment...so neither should the Browns.

Chemically, pot doesn't have addictive properties. And if we're being fair, Manziel exhibits far more alcoholic tendencies than Gordon. But I don't think Gordon's problem is so much that he's chemically addicted to the drugs, he's addicted to risky behavior and getting into trouble. So that's why he has to quit cold turkey. No one will sign the guy when they know with one more suspension he'll be out of the league altogether.

How can a "famous" person not get a friend/anyone to drive him home sober. I don't care if you had 2 beers, you don't risk it while you are under fire for everything else in your damn life. Your career, future, pretty much for him his wealth is on the line and you drive home after having some drinks.

Got to rehab, bang a nurse while you are there, get clean (hopefully you stay clean from the nurse) and then come dominate for Johnny.

Honestly this is the guy he probably needs as his rehab person...
