Josh Gordon Relapse 2018

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Using drugs at work is a major safety concern, though. If you let your employees work while intoxicated and someone gets hurt, you're gonna be liable for it.

I think most of these stories were greatly exaggerated. There was a time when Gordon's handlers were looking to straight up cash in on selling his redemption story and needed to make the path back sound as awful as possible.

Although minors' records are generally sealed, the spending time in juvie part has to be reasonably accurate because I would think it can be actually checked (recall our hometown author James Frey took a huge hit over misrepresenting his arrest records in his "autobiography," err, fictional novel.)

Completely forgot about that! There aren't many articles out other than the ones that came out right away with the original terms; I stand corrected.

It's a bit frustrating that we couldn't also fleece Belicheat a bit better on Danny Shelton (a lot of people are misremembering it as "getting a 3rd" when we also gave a high 5th back.)

Given the "time value of money" aspect, which unofficially says 1 year deferred on a pick = 1 round, and that the 3rd founder will be late, the Pats essentially considered Shelton nearly useless, as he has proven to be the last few weeks. Of course his pending free agency was a factor too.

People get hurt in pro sports regardless, though. I cannot imagine there would be any additional safety risk if they allowed their players to smoke.

Seriously? It alters your judgement. You don’t think someone could get hurt by someone whose under the influence. Dumbass.

I’ll apologize in advance for calling you a dumbass.
