Seriously, guys.....we're all better than this (you know who you are).

Josh Smith is a complete waste of a roster spot.

He has a horrible attitude, he doesn't want to play his natural position and he can't shoot.

My head would seriously explode if we pursued someone like him.

Josh Smith literally does nothing for any of this teams' weaknesses.

He is the kind of guy you dont take even if you get a pick along with him and he fits into your trade exception. He is like Dion but without talent.

3 years ago in Atlanta he had a PER of 21.1 and led the league in Defensive Win Share. Somebody is going to sign him to a league minimum contract (the Pistons still have to pay him) on the chance they can get him playing even close to that level again.

If we were to sign Smith, it would be a vet min salary. Easily cuttable, would not affect our ability to make future deals in anyway.

If he wanted to come here, there would be literally 0 risk. You don't turn down an All Star caliber OF for 0 risk.
