Don't get me wrong, seems like an explosive and exciting player, just don't know where he fits.

I mean if he doesn't work out then he doesn't work out and we'd be in the same spot as if we hadn't bought the pick.

Or, he blows the doors off and earns and a spot and knocks one of those guards off the roster.

This is a guy you develop who 2-3 years from now plays 10-15 minutes a night.

He isn't being brought in to "guard Curry" nor is there any guarantee that we ever face GS in a Finals again, so you don't draft a guy, especially in the second round with any specific opponent in mind.

Yeah the height thing doesn't bother the Cavs FO if the talent is really there. Quickness, vision, shooting, and vertical leap higher than VC? Yes please.

Cause height doesn't matter...if you play with the top of your head, you're playing the wrong game...

Guy has a 6'3 wingspan at 5'9...he's long for his size, he's well put together, and he's athletic as hell...makes up for the lack of length from the floor to the top of his head...

When was the last time you saw a supposedly 5'9 player make a real impact (and he's not that height...).

The odds are near zero. The good thing is we gave up zero....and we need near zero at this point to repeat. I'm sure he kicks ass but no future in the NBA IMO.

There have been 2 other players under 5'10" drafted recently, Nate Robinson and Isaiah Thomas. Both succeeded.

The player this probably hurts most is Quinn Cook.

I know a lot of people, myself included, were interested in giving Cook an extended look to see if he could possibly earn the 3rd string PG spot next year.

Given the fact the Cavs paid to get him, Felder is probably the guy that's going to get that look instead.
