Kendrick Perkins - Canton's Enforcer

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Seriously? Holy shit, he looks WAY different.
I don't think that's Leon Powe. Looks nothing like him. Powe did play with James and Perkins in 2001 and 2002 though. Oakland Soldiers.

This is the thing perk won't need to score a bucket to be useful. This team is amazing offensively. He's here to clog the paint

isn't he the best 1 on 1 defender in the block in the league or something like that?

anyway, i remember okc last year and the year before were at their best when he was playing and were awful when he wasn't.

Before few years, there was a player in Europe called Sofoklis Schortsanitis. He was very big, not tall at all, very massive but he has a name of a headcase and a kind of player which not any quality coach wants in his team. Suddenly comes David Blatt to his first year in Maccabi (after few years in other places) and decided he bring him to Maccabi Tel Aviv. Everybody was shocked, nobody wanted a headcase fat player who make so many troubles and can only hurt the team chemistry. Blatt took a big risk and signed him. Few years from that day Schortsanitis became the one of the top 5 centers in Europe.

Now I don't say Perkins gonna be the N.B.A version of Schortsanitis's success, we don't need him to be, we have Moz, but Perkins story reminds me this a little. I actually was against this sign but, who knows how good he may be for the team under Blatt? maybe we will see a new version of Perkins? It will be interesting to watch.

I went on to say how Shump and Moz would be a perfect fit. J.R is a story in his own however. Basically looking at the style Blatt wants to play with and mix that with LeBrons ideas and you have a super playbook. In other words it is easy to see why Perk and Shump will work here. Less stress and plays called for them as Perkins used to see with Rondo. LeBron will get Perkins his. The fact is we have the best of all worlds with the bigs

Perk. The tough guy defense and Brick wall.
Moz. The mobile rim protecting underrated freak from Russia
T.T. The soft yet hustling athletic big man from Canada
Love. The do it all guy and a the reason he is part of a big three.
Andy. Injured but add him to this list and holy crap you got a cluster Fuch.

But theirs always TRob, a guy that gets passed around like a used tampon and couldn't carry Perks jockstrap.

Then theirs Blatche, this season wasnt a lockout so wtf was he doing over in China? Again, another no name lucky tall guy with little offensive game that made it. Nothing to see, move on.

Then at last we have Slammin Sammy. A guy who got bought out and when players get bought out theirs teams flying like buzzards. Not with Sammy. Hes been a ghost ever since, is it to late to put him on a NY milk carton?

Any "different players" I missed? At least Perk is respected and won a ring. Contributed to a ring for that matter.
Who the hell passes around used tampons

Smith will be bringing the ball up the court with the second unit once Shumpert moves into a starting role.

I said the same thing when we acquired him, but I'm starting to doubt this happens. Smith has looked far better between Irving and James than anyone thought possible. I wouldnt be surprised if they decided to just keep the good times rolling with Swish in the starting 5 at this point.

JR's offense in the second unit is ideal, and there's no way Blatt doesn't already have that up his sleeve as an obvious playoff adjustment. But he's sharp enough not to mess with karma.

I think JR is a great fit in the starting lineup as it gives us so much space. Also Blatt had done a good job getting Shump in early to spell LJ so that he can keep JR out there when LJ is on the bench then will bring in LJ when JR sits. I have to say Blatt has figured out his rotation and I like it. It will be interesting how he uses Perk, I could see him using it to keep Love and Moz mins down. It also gives us the ability to rest Love as we have a 4th big not names James Jones.

This is a ridiculous and offensive comparison.
