Kevin Durant going home campaign has officially started

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The rest of the Eastern Conference can be the Washington Generals for all I f'king care. Long as we routinely get to the finals and start racking up championships.

Good for the Wizards though, if/when it happens. They should go all in for Durant, why not? I like the idea of star players wanting to play for their hometowns and not just flocking to LA, New York, or Miami. Fuck that. Makes the league so much more interesting when small markets are competing, particularly if they are led by a hometown star.

I liked Oklahoma's cheapness a lot more when it didn't carry a huge risk of fucking us over. :chuckles:

Man, if Durant comes to the Wiz we absolutely need Wiggins here. If Lebron starts to decline we will have no one to cover the durantula.

as has been stated, OKC fan is now in the same boat as Cavs fan '08-10 with all the speculation on where James was going to go once FA hit. Everytime the Cavs went into a town that wanted James, the rumors would fly.

Luckily the Thunder only face the Bullets twice a year, however I tuned into ESPN radio this morning and it was THE topic of discussion.

I feel absolutely terrible for OKC fans. They're about to go through what all of us did from 2008-2010.

Kinda disappointed in KD too. He's fueling the fire.

I don't feel terrible for any of them, especially OKC fans, who were gift wrapped an exciting NBA team and have never suffered anything remotely depressing as what Cleveland and many other city's fans have. Welcome to the big leagues OKC.

I'd like to see Durant in Washington but I doubt it happens. There will be plenty of desirable suitors clinging for his services. I don't see him staying in OKC though, they traded Harden after making it to the finals just to save a couple million dollars. They deserve what they're going to get a couple years from now. Should've gotten rid of Perkins, that money would be used for Harden now.

Why???! Durant, Wall and Beal could wreck shop in this league.. I think that's an incredibly dangerous combination. We'd have to go through them every year... Fuck that.

I know! I guess it would be a great rivalry. John Wall, Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant vs. Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters and LeBron James. Maybe Wiggins vs. Otto Porter if we keep AW. That'd be fun to watch.

Would it still be fun after we lost?

So when do we start the Anthony Davis is coming home thread?

Durant should be talking about going "home" to the Seattle SuperSonics, but, you know.

Because Durant has the power to do that...

He does, yes. All he has to do is say he isn't playing another game (after his current contract is up, of course) until the Seattle SuperSonics return. You think the NBA would want that over their heads? Nah.

Durant has the power. We all have the power. You just have to know what to do with it.
