Everyone relax... Guys, we are still taking out a Chicago team that should be down 3-2 to MIL if MIL didn't blow a 15 point lead in the second half a couple games ago. Remember all those big games we won this year when K Love had some not-so-great games? Yes, Kevin's presence is big and his spacing but let's not act like we are bad without him. We have won against some good teams this year (western and eastern conference teams) when Kevin had bad games or didn't even factor in the 4th quarter... We will be fine people. I honestly believe we can still win a championship once we got JR back... It will be more difficult for sure, but we still have a chance to win it all.

While I do agree that the cavs will be ok against Chicago, I disagree about regular season success translating to the playoffs.

2 diff beasts.

That being said, cavs are better than the bulls period.

Hate to say this, but in talking with the majority of my non-Cavs friends, they don't view what Olynyk did as dirty. Most of the media outside of Cleveland feels the same way. Olynyk's name will be garbage in Cleveland, but no one cares outside of that.

Most of the media outside of Cleveland are serving their large-market masters, so they have an agenda and are trained to disregard and disrespect places like Cleveland. It's on big joke to them. I don't put much stock in what they say.

If we can just get to the finals I feel we win it no matter what...Lebron is going to play his ass off and same with Kyrie and we are going to pull off the upset and Cleveland will go into flames...book it

You're welcome. The woman who replaced him is much better than Bucher. Which isn't hard to accomplish. :chuckle:

Bucher has hated LeBron for as long as I can remember.

I just realized he lost his radio show on 95.7 The Game as well. Never listen to that radio channel, so I assumed he was still there.

I had no idea he was mid-Ron Burgundy downward spiral.

Well depends who we play. If spurs make it.. Well.. Let's just say it'll be a long off season :(

The Drive, and The Shot, and The Decision and now Cavs fans are dealing with......... The Shoulder.

Here's how bad it got - at one point last summer, I think Bucher was tweeting out promotions for a local store. I'm not even joking. He basically took money (it seems) from a local Bay Area (he lives there) store in exchange for promoting one of their contests on his twitter.

He's horrible. I feel bad for any of his Bleacher Report and NBA Sirius Radio (I think he does this too) co hosts. Guy is pathetic.

Still can't get over how lightly Olynyk was punished. Pretty much carte blance to nail someone hard if you're about to lose a series.

Can't say I'm surprised. The league is big on it's policy of past history of the player, much like in JR's case. Olynyk never really has done anything before I believe.

It's unfortunately a situation where there is no just punishment.

What does any amount of games really mean at the start of the regular season?

Would anyone be happy of it was 10 games? I could seriously care less.

Just gotta move on and hope for the best.

Well, the player may certainly care if he loses that many game checks, and even 10 games can be important in terms of playoff seeding or even making the playoffs at all for a bubble team.

But one freaking game for a non-basketball injury play that does that much damage....whether he deliberately intended a major injury shouldn't be the prime focus. There needs to be a disincentive for the next guy who thinks about getting that rough so that the chance of a similar "unfortunate" injury to someone else is reduced.

But, it's Bahhhssssston. So no big deal.

The only disincentive would be a game for game policy.

Meaning, if you injure a player with a non basketball play, that you in turn miss as many games as he does.

The problem? There's no way in hell the players association would let that happen.

I feel a little bit better about the odds of Love returning after listening to Griffin.

Seemed he was mostly trying to protect Love and make sure there was no expectation of him returning.

But I don't think Griffin believes, at least as of today, that it is impossible for Love to return.

Did anybody catch on EPSN where - if I can recall correctly - LBJ referred to Kevin as a role player?

:doh (31):

He also said that no one could fill the role Kevin played, but guys needed to step up into their own roles.

He also did refer to Kevin as one of the big 3.
