Simmons is constantly writing and tweeting about what neighborhood in Boston he'll live in.

Regardless, nice to see Love actually squash some of this shit. It's rare you hear an athlete be that definitive about where he'll be the following year when he is or can be a free agent. Refreshing, really.

Last time he went on one (I believe for some school charity) right before the All-Star game, he also confirmed that he was gonna be in town next year.

I think when we traded for him, there was an agreement that he would give us the 2yrs (left on his contract) at minimum, before hitting FA.

IMO, how he's integrated and used next year will be the deciding factor in his FA decision in 2016. And to a smaller extent, how deep our runs go these next two years.

Yeah Simmons has been the loudest, he and Jalen and their speculation.

I just listened to the Dan Patrick interview, and it was even more definitive than the Mike and Mike one. Dan even really pushed him hard on stuff:

"Come on, there's no way you can really be happy there can you?"

"We'll still be here to support you when you're a Celtic next year"

Kevin just laughed it off. Said he plans on being a Cavalier next year no matter what happens.

doesn't matter much what Love says, there's always a spin. Matt Barrie in this clip now says that Love only has to play nice for one year as is is speculated to be headed to ONE of the LA teams.

Every team in the league is a possible destination for Kevin Love. He has all the leverage in the world.

I just questioned Love going to Clips as they seem to be set at PF for quite awhile. I dont believe Love would sign there to be a backup.

All we've heard from November is Lakers, Lakers, Lakers. Interesting now that some talking head says speculated to be heading to one of the LA teams

So Gour, what stock do put into Love saying the following, this late into the season and this close to his upcoming leverage?

Dan: "If I gave you a mulligan?".....Kevin Love: "Same thing...same way."

"I plan on being a Cavalier either way." - Kevin Love on if winning a title this year would effect where he plays next year.

That is far more direct and far more specific than you typically get out of any impending NBA FA before their final season, let alone 10 games before the end of the season.

Not discounting that until the ink dries he(and anyone who is an upcoming FA) has the leverage to do other things, but these are pretty strong public statements compared to the PC answers(or vague answers) that most NBA players give regarding their impending Free Agency.

Funny you say that when I've only given 1 old rating and 2 disagree ratings ever whereas @Lord Mar has given me alone 8+ disagree/old ratings within the last day...

You fabricated this idea that everyone was analyzing the picture in depth and using it to say it meant Love was leaving (when the reality was people were just saying Love's absence was a little odd) seemingly just so you could attempt to subdue an imaginary argument and garner likes (which would explain why you're obviously upset by the one "old" rating I gave you - which I took away yesterday by the way) and Chris hit the nail on the head with his response to you.

I've got to say I would expect more from a poster like you who has a lot of experience on the board but I see you decided to make things personal.
 
My question is this, if Kevin leaves will you people hate him and process what we have lost for him or merely make excuses and blame his departure on primarily Blatt and be like cute teenage girls and say no regrets?
