Hey, that sounds fantastic to me, but unfortunately, that 0% also applies to your ability to prove this claim.

There are just too many variables that can happen between now and the time Love opts out. Granted, many of those variables are good, but not all. Injuries, Love's performance, and the team's overall performance are all potential negative variables that can drive Love out of Cleveland. Dwight Howard to LA sounded great on paper too, until it didn't work out on the basketball court.

Many predicted the Cavs winning roughly 60 games this season, so I fully understand your confidence, but having confidence in an unknown outcome that you have no control over should never be confused with an absolute fact.

Call me old fashioned, but I'm a big fan of the freedom to express ones views without the nuisance of someone attempting to police their thoughts. Don't like an opposing view? Then by all means express your own, but playing this "his opinion trumps yours" card comes across as extremely petty.

MoFlo is a tad more in the know than you are, just FYI.

Eh, CavsFTW is right on this one... There are no guarantees until Love re-signs. I would be shocked if he left, but saying the likelihood is 0% is overstating things a bit. We're splitting hairs, but there is always a chance he could leave.

All that said, glad to see people using "Disagree" rather than "Dumb" when they don't agree with a quality post. No reason to give someone flack for refuting someone else's opinion, even if it is an insiders.

Well, if you know me at all, you know I'm usually on the side of people with your opinion and CavsFTW's on the subject. Let's just say several people on this forum gained a lot of credibility in that regard over this past summer (not that I didn't respect them already, obviously). MoFlo is one of them. He's not going to just post a 0% figure without there being some substance behind it.

I personally think it's possible Love leaves, and it's definitely on my mind. But that's my uninformed opinion.

1 - MoFlo has proven himself around here.

2 - Howard to LA never looked good. He never wanted to be there. He opted in the final year in Orlando because the Magic threatened to trade him to the Lakers.

3 - why are you writing off 60 wins?

I don't understand those people saying Love has been underwhelming... Has his shot been off so far? Certainly, it's not up to his expectations but it will come around. BUT he affects the game in many other way than scoring/shooting. Just his presence at the 3 point arc opens up the lane for Kyrie/Bron. He rebounds the ball like a maniac and he is a great passer for a big man and gets LeBron 4 points a game at least from outlet passes. He affects the game in many more ways than scoring and K Love has not been underwhelming to me. Just struggling with his shot a little bit, but it will pick up here soon.

For 20 Million a Year, I want more than what you described he's giving this team.

It's apparent that Kevin is going to be the last of the big three to find his spot. This sorta makes sense as we would assume it would have been either Kevin or Kyrie. Kyrie has the advantage of having the ball in his hands a lot. Kevin is going to be a different player five months from now. Everyone knows him as a pure scorer, excellent rebounder, and top-notch outlet passer. These qualities will remain, but his willingness and ability to defend successfully will increase. I think this is the most interesting aspect of this season; what will Kevin Love (the player) be at the end of the season. He's going to remake himself. He will be more well-rounded, a better defender, and this balance will make him even more difficult to account for. His abilities remain, but I suggest that he will be thought of very differently in a season or two.

His passing is crazy. It's something you just don't catch in the boxscore because a lot of his passes result in the other plays getting fouled. How demoralizing after a missed shot to see Love throw an outlet pass over the top for an easy layup. Plus it causes the whole team to play better as the ball movement becomes infectious.

He's defending the post therefore his reb numbers are low I guess,
If we got a defensive center things would probably change.
I also saw a poster that said Kevin Love is stretching the floor and therefore making the others more space, that is true but any stretch 4-5 could have done the same (e.g McRoberts, Hawes etc)
We could have signed Deng , Hawes, Kept Wiggins and Bennet if he does not rebound more I would take the second option.
I hope he finds his way cause I really really Love him.

You're asking for a bunch of quarters to replace a dollar. Kevin Love brings so much to this team and if he was hitting shots like he was in preseason (yeah, we don't even have to go back to Minnesota) nobody would be complaining.

He has had to make the biggest adjustment. New team, new city, new philosophy. Everything is different for KLove and when he finds his groove we're gonna shit down team's necks on a more regular basis.

PS- You are forgetting that we could not have signed ANY of the guys you mentioned because we need to renounce people, clear the cap and fill it it with LeBron.

His defense hasn't been that bad aside from when he is the last line of defense in the paint after a rotation. He seems to still be in Minnesota mode where he doesn't want to put his body on someone, challenge the offensive player at the rim a bit, and potentially put himself at risk to get a foul.

Thing is...you're not in Minnesota anymore, Menace (smfh). We can weather the storm if Love gets in a bit of foul trouble from time to time.
