Love shouldn't have been in there the last quarter and overtime. Offensive rebounds killed us and like 5 open 3s missed. Lue sits Love when he shouldn't and plays him when he should be on the bench. Its maddening.

Man, this something that always annoys me. Take fuckin responsibility. If the game was on you then when you get to talking to the media, first thing out of your mouth should be ''this loss was on me''. That shit earns you respect. If not to the media, then say it to your teammates or your coach.

After that, get out there and put up 100 shots.

I think I said the same shit about Jarret Jack or Irving way back when. God-damnit just be an adult.

Are you suggesting the loss "was on Love"?

just posted these stats for 1st half/2nd half splits and last 15 games (since 12/23)

just like last year he dies in the second half when team goes away from him. what struck me (besides last 13 games, almost a third of season so far) was how bad his road shooting has been...

It's a good thing Love has been rebounding reasonably well. He keeps finding a way to generally be a positive player on the court despite his science awful shooting over the past several weeks.

I think it's timeto move love and get more consistent talent in here.

Like I said in the game thread, I think Griffin should seriously start considering trading Love if he has a chronic back condition he is trying to hide, because sometimes he looks somewhat mobile but than he moves like that 38 year old guy at the park with two bad knees and a bad back...

If we're building a team to beat the Warriors we all know Love is pretty much useless against them anyway so at least considering it and looking at offers should be on the table, If we can somehow find a deal that gives us a stretch 4 that can actually play some defense and move around contesting shots, a rim protector, a wing defender and another playmaker I think this type of a deal would make us a much better team than we are now.

Saying "we won the championship so there's no reason to change anything" is the wrong approach imo, because we didn't won that series vs the Warriors thanks to Love we won despite of him being horrendous 5 out 6 games in that series, the series really changed in the Cav's favor when Love got hurt, that's when we had our absolute best game against the Warriors and destroyed them, it was because we finally had a lineup that was able to defend and switch everything and that is impossible to do with Love playing as his defense is laughable, I think Love maybe has an OK match up vs the Spurs but a giant Liability vs GS because he can't defend the way they play and they always easily shut him down on offense.

A chronic back issue is no joke and we all see how bad he's been moving around when his back is acting up, and that seems to happen way to often unfortunately. Love is also not actually better this season than his first two years here, His % are almost identical across the board the only difference is he's getting 3 more shots per game, every year here he started off hot and than his percentages drop substantially as the years goes on, kinda like his scoring he always scores well in the 1stQ or 1st half but than his percentages drop to 29% in the 4thQ.

Might be time for the team to get medical imaging on Kevin's back. He said he can't sleep on his back right now and has to sleep on his side.

Apparently we should have just kept Kevin bubble wrapped until April because the November/December version of Kevin that put us neck and neck with GS.. is just gone, baby. He's still a productive, plus player against most teams in the regular season.. but that version of Love won't move the needle against the elite team(s). The all-NBA version of him from the first two months.. would have.

Not sure what they do. Sit him for a month.. or two??

Fyi shooting the same percentages on more attempts is better. You rather have the 40% 3 point shooter who shoots 1 three a game or 10 threes a game?

Not the main point of my post at all but your example is way out there, Love is taking more shots per game and roughly shooting the same percentage, If you think that makes him a much better player than the last 2 seasons because he gets 3 more touches per game that's cool, To me hes the exact same player who just gets 3 more touches, starts the season hot than cools down as it goes on.

Love back problems is my main point and a big concern, the fact that hes only 27 needs to ride the bike every time, admits he can't sleep on his back and has the mobility of a 38 year old should be worrisome to everyone, If he has a chronic back problem than is something that needs to be taken into consideration by the front office.

Listen if Love was healthy and looking spry I wouldn't put much into his shooting slumps and wouldn't really care, but a bad back more than anything effects the defensive side and lateral movement which he isn't very good at to begin with, back problems especially for tall guys tend to be chronic that's why I'm worried, and its a reoccurring issue right now
