No way should the Cavs trade him outside of an overwhelming return. The Cavs can compete for the playoffs next year with a mostly full season of healthy Love and a productive enough offseason. Let's get a little luck in the lottery, get the coach right, and see what can happen. Screw trading Love just because and screw tanking.

Could not agree more. Love is a All-Star Caliber Talent. You build around him. Next Year

Zizic
Love
Sexton
Knight
Osman

is not a bad starting five if sexton, osman and zizic keep developing

Nance, Clarkson, Nwaba, ( I would sign him)Thompson, Delly is not a bad bench

We still have the two draft picks. So Knight will probably slide to the bench to make room for the lottery pick. And the extra first round pick goes to the bench

Next deadline your looking to move Thompson, Delly and Clarkson for some young players and assets

Still think JR will turn into a second round pick this summer. If they start allowing 18 years olds in the draft, all of these second round picks will have more value

Nice job by the organization this year. Just nail at least one of these draft choices

I don't want to trade Kevin Love unless it's for a better version of Kevin Love. This team is the opposite of a tank with him on it. and now that he has his Minnesota AND LeSystem skills in tow...
Love is good for this team.
I get at some point they will deal him but right now he is showing he is valuable..it's just that he's injury prone.

Love is such a good player to develop the young guys around because he needs action run for him to be his most effective. Love won't stall up the offense thinking if he handle the ball that it would some how work better. He truly understands that for this team to get better the young guys have to develop.

I'm not sure they will move Delly next year, I think he has been a good influence on Sexton and they will keep him around to help any guard(s) we might draft or bring in.

I think Knight is a good complementary guard and is easy to slot into alot of different spots. I just don't think we should pass up his potential value to try to keep him long term. Even though he is 27 you have to factor in his injury history in how you view him as a long term piece. It's hard to count on him or even think about giving him a multi-year contract since he has had two major knee surgeries and took so long to come back.

Love is savoring his role as the top dog on a young team with rising potential. I don't see any reason why we'd trade him short of some team making a ridiculous offer. Just sit back and see how the draft picks fall, and build organically as this team continues to improve and we free up salary and roster slots by getting rid of dead weight.

It would really help to have one more year of 10 or less so we get to keep our first rounder instead of shipping it off to Atlanta.

How bad is he hurt?

Love is still due for the season-ending injury that's just serious enough to cloud his off season 'tradeability'. Don't think that was it, looked like potential concussion.

Yes..and how of those has he had from heads colliding?
Dude is really injury prone.

Who would have thought that of our big three, only Love would be happy with his life. I like it.
Love don't need the attention. He's okay with just staying home watching movies, having sex with his model girlfriend and looking at himself in the mirror. You can do that in any city.

imagine Love outletting to Zion next year.... :doh (1)::doh (1):
I'd like to see that happen just knowing how frustrated LeBron would be seeing the Cavs reload while he's stuck babysitting an angry mob of Kobe Kids for the next 4 years. He should've signed a 1 & 1 deal like he did with the Cavs to leave open the door for a return.
