I thought Love played great last night, which even happened to be the 2nd night of a back-to-back (with the 1st game against the best team in the league no less). Sure he only had 13 points. But he also shot very well (3-6 FG, 3-5 3PT, 4-4 FT), got 10 rebounds, 4 assists, played very good defense (1 steal, 1 block and all around played hard), and was +17 for the game.

During the first couple months of the season, if Love didn't score much, he seemed to bring little to the table aside from rebounds and the occasional TD pass. But with his hustle and D the past couple months, he's brought so much more to the team and has very big impact regardless of his scoring most nights.

AV was getting in that area and that ball distribution was never replaced by Mozgov and Thompson as they are typically in the low post.

15 shots out of 16 from the 3 point line over 2 games doess not get you a more efficient offense

forsaking the paint game for drive lanes and ISO is choking this offenses potential and thats on the players choices not the system and it goes beyond Love himself

Weren't the Heat having trouble utilizing Bosh in the offense the whole first year and figured it out during the second year?

Could be the same thing here.

I would love having Love in the post more often.

They never figured out how to use him. He was turned into a strictly jump shooting big man pretty much the entire time he was there.

As long as Lebron is on this team things aren't going to change that much for Love's role on offense from what it is now.

All the Cavs want out of a 4 is someone to be a rich man's Ryan Anderson. Lebron will take care of everything else.

Love's three point shooting is an asset. So, there is no issue to use it. But restricting him to just that is a shame. I understand with LeBron on the floor we need him more around the perimeter to stretch the floor but we have to mix it up as well. The frustrating thing is when LeBron sits, Love ends up being the same player he was with LeBron. A stretch four. I like Delly but ffs there should be no reason why he should be taking shots ahead of Love. Have Love orchestrate plays from down low or the elbow.

Bosh was never really a banger.

Fact remains; we still need to incorporate Love much more in the offense. Only 6 shots is ridiculous (in a regular season game against PHX - OK - but in the playoffs it would be tragic).

I definately think we should be getting more touches down low, especially when Lebron is out of the game. If you put him out there with Kyrie, Love can post up and Kyrie can get some open jumpers. I think it would be good to have Mosgov out there too as he can shoot well enough to pull his guy away and also keep the oppositions big man from keeping Love from posting up.

I think it's hilarious that we shouldn't be "shying away" to chastise Love whenever he has a bad night when Mozgov, Smith, and Shumpert all get free passes from being whipped because they do stuff that doesn't show up on box scores and stats. It's as if Love doesn't provide any. The shit that he got in the last loss when his performance wasn't even that bad.

I'd really like y'all to remember what kinds of PFs we had since we got LeBron.

But Richard all 3 of those players combined make less money than Love which will be accentuated even further after he gets his 9 figure extension. Mozgov's 10 points 7 rebounds a game shooting basically 60% from the field while playing 25 minutes a game on a 5 million dollar contract is showing up in the box score. The classic Love spreads the floor and has an impeccable basketball IQ is something that you see way more on rcf than Smith, Mozgov or Shumpert affecting the game in immeasurable ways. I don't think that Kevin has been getting much "shit" at all recently. If anything this thread is full of love pun intended.

Check out the Atlanta and Houston loss where Love couldnt contain their bigs when he produced just as well as them. It's like he has to guard both C and PF. All I saw was oh Mozgov can't contain them oh well, jr is cold lol but Love gets a 4-page circlejerk among the usual gang how he sucks. Whether it's the bashing because of salary difference or the Wiggins butthurt, people arent trying their damn best to be impartial. It's like people are always looking for reasons why Love was a big reason for losing when in fact he did better despite the way he is being handled by the staff. It's Dion Waiters all over again!

All I am saying is people shouldnt forget what he brought on the court even if its a loss. Try being objective ffs. Or not. I am not a beggar. Do what you people usually do.

In Toronto, he was in the post a lot. In Miami, he was asked to be that stretch four and become a jump shooter, like Love is right now. Bosh went to the post time to time when LeBron was there, but, this season when he was healthy, he went to the post and he wanted to be a post player.

If loves guys stays home and Irving or Lebron have nothing to drive into and the perimeter defenders cut off the outside passing lanes. Love needs to come inside and the ballhandler needs to get it to him. This isnt happening

this turns the 50% scoring option to a 60% scoring option if its done with any consistency.

there are so many awesome plays we could be running for love and we dont....the guy can leave...like seriously... especially when bron is out of the game, run some fucking offense through him..pick and roll, pick and pop, elbow, post up ...its not rocket science

the houston game was annoying to me most because love was destroying josh smith for like 4 possessions straight in the post..then later in the game smith is on him and they never goto him
