I hate to say anything negative on Kyrie's big night but pictures like the above really concern me. It seems like the team is growing in chemistry and everyone is getting along except for Love who's seemingly always on his own. I know Love is an introvert but the guys gotta do their best to make him feel like a part of the team.

We play the lowly Magic next. Hopefully we use that as a game where we can just force feed Love for the hell of it. Should be an easy win so there won't be any harm in doing so. I want to see him more involved. Like I said, this is a guy who put up 26/12/4.5 along with a 59% TS percentage last year, god damnit. This isn't another James Jones we should just spot up in the corner. People have forgotten how good he was last year.

Lebron posted a team picture the other day and Kevin Love was right in the middle smiling perfectly fine. Kevin has more so gravitated towards James Jones and Mike Miller it seems and thats fine. His teammates shouldn't do anything but be themselves and I think Kevin will respect it more ... more than making him feel apart of a picture he may have been doing something else during. We don't know the behind the scenes stuff I'm pretty sure they are fine.

This tendency to treat Kevin Love like the hunchback of Notre Dame is so bizarre. He's a big boy and can handle himself.

He's also not that much of an introvert--he was a clown in the Minnesota locker room like LeBron is here.

The disrespect is real. Not talking about these forums but rather his own team.

I know no one is going to take you seriously with your username, but any Cavs fan who thinks the Cavs will win a championship without Kevin Love making contributions is delusional. Yesterday was a GREAT win, but not a recipe for success. One point is Blatt said he was glad taking Love out and switching worked just yesterday, but may not in the future. Hopefully he viewed it as being lucky rather than relying on it as as long term strategy.

Are we really going to analyze a single picture that doesn't include Kevin Love in it? LeBron probably takes tons of pictures without Kevin Love in them. He also probably takes plenty with Love next to him, like the one on the airplane from the other day. For all we know, Love was with the media when that picture was taken, or receiving treatment for his back.

Yep. Kyrie's not gonna score near 60 every night. You have to win 4 games to win a playoff series and if we want to beat the better teams in their league like the Hawks and whatever Western juggernaut we meet in the Finals, we're going to have to involve Love more. Like Barkley said, there were so many mismatches we could have had Love take advantage of, but rarely would guys look for him when he was posting up.

I don't understand because it worked well last game against Dallas! We found him in the post and he had a great game - 21 points (9/17) and 14 rebounds. The last thing we need is for Live to feel alienated by his teammates, and then give up trying to post up and call for the ball. He's incredibly important to this team's success.

I wish it were just that single picture. From what I've seen and heard, I just don't get the feeling that Love is all that close to the other guys on the team. Sure he was in that airplane pic, but it was a team pic, so of course he was gonna be in it.

I mean you see how close Lebron and Kyrie are, and I just don't want Love to feel alienated, you know?

They went away from Love because Kyrie got hot in the 2nd and went into tunnel vision mode. Even Lebron took a backseat and just tried to do the little things. Kyrie reminds me of Iverson, when he gets going, he's looking for his own shot too much. He had it last night, can't blame him, but he doesn't know how to get others going. The narrative would have been different if the Cavs lost.

I am waiting for LeBron sex tape to leak and then the posters here be like: "hey, did you notice KLove wasn't there?"

Nothing wrong with feeding the hot hand. Kevin wasn't having a great offensive game (understatement), but he was still doing a great job on defense and I don't see how he deserved to be benched. He wasn't just chucking up shot after shot- he only had 10 attempts.

The thing is, Kevin is currently a very expensive 4th/5th option (at best). Since we gave up so much to get him, it really seems essential to utilize him. He's doing what we asked of him on defense, he's sitting out at the 3 point line to create space like we're asking him, he shouldn't be benched for playing his role. JR wasn't having a great game but still played his normal minutes. Maybe the rumor that his back was sore is true, but I think we would've heard more about it if it was so I'm thinking that was just speculation.

I am genuinely getting worried regarding the whole Love thing now. Sitting him out once or twice is ok but he is getting treated like a role player now. Yes, Love didn't have a great game offensively but he was good on the defense. Also, he actually started off well. Its just that after that he hardly got a fair amount of shots.

I remember Chuck and CWeb discussing about this. There was an instance where Love was down low or near the elbow area and he wasn't able to finish. CWeb mentioned that, thats more like it but just because he couldn't finish there, doesn't mean he should stop doing that. But sadly, that is what happened after that.

I don't care what anyone says. But in order to win against the likes of Hawks or Golden State or San Antonio, its absolutely essential Love plays well. LeBron and Kyrie would do their things but you need Love as well to win the series. I fully understand that with LeBron there, you need someone who can stretch the floor and there is no problem with it. But, you can't use him just as a stretch four like a Mike Miller or Ryan Anderson. Zach Lowe mentioned it in the last Grantland pod that LeBron in a PnR with four great shooters including Love around him is fantastic but Love can so much more.

There is no problem in doing that. But, why not mix it up and make the offense unpredictable? Give him the ball down low and let him do his thing. Its not like Love will take a lot of bad shots or anything. He is a very good facilitator and is a good passer. So, he can either go and look to score on his own or have LeBron, Kyrie and JR to cut and get the easy baskets. This is what will give the oppositions proper headache!

Because the Cavs would be deadly in a variety of ways in the offensive end. Be it Le-Iso or Ky-Iso, PnRs or this. Teams can prepare for one or two styles but a team which has so many variety with offensive players like LeBron, Kyrie and Love would be an absolute nightmare.
