I am waiting for LeBron sex tape to leak and then the posters here be like: "hey, did you notice KLove wasn't there?"

I'm waiting for the sex tape to leak of David Blatt and Dan Gilbert's wife that James Jones currently possesses. Only way these 4th quarters make sense.

I am genuinely getting worried regarding the whole Love thing now. Sitting him out once or twice is ok but he is getting treated like a role player now. Yes, Love didn't have a great game offensively but he was good on the defense. Also, he actually started off well. Its just that after that he hardly got a fair amount of shots.

I remember Chuck and CWeb discussing about this. There was an instance where Love was down low or near the elbow area and he wasn't able to finish. CWeb mentioned that, thats more like it but just because he couldn't finish there, doesn't mean he should stop doing that. But sadly, that is what happened after that.

I don't care what anyone says. But in order to win against the likes of Hawks or Golden State or San Antonio, its absolutely essential Love plays well. LeBron and Kyrie would do their things but you need Love as well to win the series. I fully understand that with LeBron there, you need someone who can stretch the floor and there is no problem with it. But, you can't use him just as a stretch four like a Mike Miller or Ryan Anderson. Zach Lowe mentioned it in the last Grantland pod that LeBron in a PnR with four great shooters including Love around him is fantastic but Love can so much more.

There is no problem in doing that. But, why not mix it up and make the offense unpredictable? Give him the ball down low and let him do his thing. Its not like Love will take a lot of bad shots or anything. He is a very good facilitator and is a good passer. So, he can either go and look to score on his own or have LeBron, Kyrie and JR to cut and get the easy baskets. This is what will give the oppositions proper headache!

Because the Cavs would be deadly in a variety of ways in the offensive end. Be it Le-Iso or Ky-Iso, PnRs or this. Teams can prepare for one or two styles but a team which has so many variety with offensive players like LeBron, Kyrie and Love would be an absolute nightmare.

The guy is hurting big time. It has even been reported his back acted up last night. I am assuming that is why he has been out of games. We need him healthy come playoffs.

Lets hope that was the case, man. We cna't have James Jones playing in the fourth quarter in play-offs when the game is close.

We could three-peat with this roster, and there would still be some people in this thread complaining that they don't think Kevin Love is a max player and we shouldn't have traded Wiggins for him.

I'd just be interested to see the comments from a few select posters in this thread compared from the 24 hour period where Love posted 21/14 against the Mavs versus the 24 hour period of this San Antonio game. Wish I had the time to compile something right this second.

I think you're confusing this thread with the Wiggins-Love Trade Revisited thread. I haven't seen anyone in here lately saying Love isn't a max player or anything like that. I'm a Love supporter and a supporter of the Love trade.

Other posters and I in this thread are arguing the opposite. Love is a superstar and NEEDS to get the ball more and actually play in the 4th quarter over James Jones. We're not gonna win anything unless we involve Love in the offense more and get him post touches. I hate how we immediately go away from him and never look for him in the post again if he doesn't finish a play down low.

The bolded is the important part. Listen, I don't think anyone thinks Love is not a max player or that the trade was terrible and we'd rather have Wiggins. All we've posited is two hypotheticals: First, if Wiggins develops into a superstar in the first three years; and, more importantly, if the Cavs don't win this year and Love walks.

I've seen very few posters on this board say that they would rather have not made the trade because Wiggins > Love. In my opinion, we had to and should have made the trade, but its result has not been finalized so judging it now is premature.

This was a big win for the team- perhaps the biggest game Lebron could get this year given what happened last year- so I can understand why Blatt went with the guys he trusted most last night. However, he has to get Love involved in remaining "big" games at the end. This guy has never experienced the playoffs and needs to confidence to step up and get his game to another level. I don't think he has anywhere near Kyrie's confidence. I'm concerned about him in that sense. This game was a step back from what we saw against the Mavs- bigger stage, better team. But there are plenty more to go and Love has made two steps forward for each step backward over the past few months. He did have a good defensive series against Duncan in OT also.

Love's back has to be hurting him. If you watch past tapes of him running compared to the last 2 weeks you see something wrong. He is very stiff right now waste up. You can see it when he runs up the court. I am no doctor nor did I stay in a Holiday Inn last night but something looks wrong. If I was the Cavs I wouldnt be talking to the press about his back either and keep people guessing.

If it is not his back and he is gettiing benched like this then we have a problem. A max player doesn't sit the last quarter. If coach did that to LJ or KI what do you think they would say or do? He is not staying if he is getting benched in the 4th if he has no health issue. Plus if he is getting benched he is a true professional and not saying a word and keeping everything behind closed doors.

I just hope the communication btw coach and Love are very open and clear. If not we just traded a future star for a 1 year wonder.

talked to a guy who works for Pacers(upper management). The story going around the league is issue with back. Keeps getting stiff on him. Any sign of stiffness they are sitting him. Didn't know if MRI has been done but probably. Thinking is minor issue and will work its way out with rehab and being careful during games--any stiffness he sits. Might sit for a week and rehab if no improvement.
