It's funny how Celtics fans were so quick to call for Wade's head after he injured Rondo a couple years ago and dislocated his shoulder (sound familiar?) in what could be seen as a tangle, but now that the sides have reversed and a Celtics player is the one committing the dirty play, they're defending Olynyk and pretending like it was a basketball play.

Bunch of hypocrites I swear.

It sure as hell looked to me like he was intentionally trying to armbar Kevin Love.

I agree 100% that it was not a basketball play and that it was cheap and not right. But you're suggesting you think in a split second move, Olynyk though to himself "hmm, maybe I can employ this UFC/MMA technique on him"?

Again, I am not arguing that he isn't responsible for his reckless non basketball play, but I'm just trying to figure out exactly what you're saying.

I think what is most annoying, at least to me, is that Love had maybe his best game as a Cav in Game 3. His confidence was up. He hit the dagger to seal the game.

That is what sucks the most. It looked like it finally clicked.

RealGM Reports:

Love also said his shoulder has already begun to feel better and is hopeful he can be ready for Game 1 of the next series.

Not sure if this means anything with all the adrenaline... Probably wait for the scans to make sure nothing is hurt

Wether or not Olynyk wanted to dislocate Love's shoulder isn't even relevant, 'cause even if he wasn't acting with malicious intent it was horribly reckless move and it had no business being done in a basketball game. Either Olynyk wanted to hurt Love or he is such a catastrophic moron, that he shouldn't be allowed to drive behind a car. Which one is it Kelly? 'cause either way you should fined and suspended for endangering another player. asshole.

And do the media talk about this? noooo, fuck no. Olynyk isn't the kind of guy to do that but because JR gets fucking mauled continually throughout the game and throws a blind swipe with his arm and hits Crowder he gets painted as some fucking psychopath. I fucking hate this shit...

@SBondyNYDN: It was a dirty, unnecessary and indefensible move from Kelly Olynyk.

This guy Hates lebron

He s a writer for the Brooklyn Nets

How do you work LeBron James into every single post you've ever made?

I won't speculate on the injury. I have fuck all ideas regarding the injuries. Just hoping its not serious and he is back for the Bulls series. Because we would desperately need his rebounding and floor spacing against the Bulls. But, more importantly, for Kev himself. He has waited so long to be play in the play-offs. No one would be more dejected than him.

I don't think Olynyk was trying to seriously injure Kev as well. But that was balantly dirty play. He was obviously frustrared with Celtics on verge of getting swept and was just getting back with a cheap shot.

But, more than that foul, the Boston Garden's reaction is what made me sad. Not angry. But sad. You don't mock injuries. So, booing an injured player was as classless as they come.

That's because they're massholes. Remember how much of a dick Will Hunting was before Robin William's character fixed him? That's a masshole.

Some doctor responded to The Bullshit Whisperer with the following:

"Makes no sense. It's a traumatic dislocation. All depends on the imaging"

To be fair, it's The Bullshit Whisperer's job to make everything seem fine. I would have been stunned if he came out with anything short of overly optimistic.

What concerns me the most about Love trying to play is the fact that they're playing the Bulls. That team is not above taking cheap shots at Love's shoulder. Is it worth the re-injury?

Having wrestled throughout high school and college.. Yep, that's exactly what I think.

It's not about UFC/MMA, lots of guys know how to do an armbar.

I say this because of a couple things. One, the way Olynyk basically rushed Kevin from behind, then grabs him, then isolates his arm very oddly. Then, and most damning of all was the way he folded his arms to clasp Kevin's and then dropped his own shoulder and weight to finalize.

Again, the ball was nowhere near either player during this altercation and Olynyk was literally dragging Love by the shoulder with his weight and motion for the entire duration.

It was, to me watching it, 100% intentional, just as Kevin said; and I doubt Love would've said this if he didn't seriously believe it.

Again, I am not arguing that he isn't responsible for his reckless non basketball play, but I'm just trying to figure out exactly what you're saying.

So, just so we're clear, I am 100% saying that yes, Olynyk intentionally tried to injure Kevin Love. He might not have expected to be so successful, but unfortunately for us, he was.

It was "bush league," "intentional," and the league needs to act.

I was just about to post that. Fuckin Noah will go after Loves shoulder in game 1, no doubt about it.
