Even if the Cavs win a championship this year it would be a tragedy if Love leaves. Wiggins is going to be a top 5 player in the world in 5 years. Love didn't contribute to the ring and you traded away potentially 15 years of great basketball and championship contention.

I don't think Love will leave and I'm not following the media crap. But if he does leave, his loss.

Good lord.
What part of my post do you disagree with? The fact that Love contributed nothing meaningful to this season's ultimate success/failure or the fact that Wiggins will be a Hall of Famer some day? It would have been nice to see Wiggins carry LeBron to a few rings in Bron's twilight years.

You answered your own question, guy.

If you need someone to iron your cape for you, I can recommend some good local laundry services.

After seeing how well the the Cavs can play without Love, it's easy for those thoughts to pop up.

To be honest it's quite easy to think this. If love isn't a career Cavalier then what?

Nvm let's just get through the playoffs. I don't really care about this issue atm.

Well, I want multiple rings and one of the greatest teams of all time, so I definitely do.

If he leaves it doesn't change what you want, and what you want isn't going to change his mind one way or the other.

That's why I say it's irrelevant.

Guys sitting here convincing themselves that he isn't going anywhere are wasting their breath. Either he stays or he goes. I can understand debating the merits of different franchises, but the back and forth about what's going on in his head is tiring; especially during the conference finals.

Beyond that, frankly, Kevin Love has every right to go anywhere he pleases. The only person that can be held accountable is David Griffin for trading Andrew Wiggins+ for Kevin Love without an extension.

I don't think he's leaving, but I also don't agree with the RCF narrative that this trade or this situation is or was ideal. It might become that, but it isn't at the time being.

Not trying to depress anyone, and why should anyone get depressed, we're literally cruising to the Finals!!!!! Like, I could give two shits about Kevin Love right now, and frankly, I'm tired of hearing about whether or not he stays or goes.

If he goes, he goes... adios.. bring in Aldridge. (I'd rather have Love, fwiw).
If he stays, then great, glad to have you...

We're just in such a good position right now, I can't really understand why folks are focusing on this.... We're going to the Finals one year removed from the lottery....

Um, I mean, okay. It's irrelevant to you. Doesn't mean it has to be for anyone else. I am not personally wasting much energy thinking or posting about it, but I do want him to stay and I think it's fun to think about our future team as well. Doesn't mean I can't enjoy the moment either. I am not going to tell people how to spend their mental energy on a forum.

I agree with the first part wholeheartedly. If Love leaves, the only person I'd blame is Griffin. Love has no allegiance to us and quite frankly I'd understand him wanting to go elsewhere after his limited role on offense this entire season.

We are in a good position at the moment. Up 2-0 against the #1 seed in the ECF... That's big time. I guess I'm not able to fully enjoy what we're doing now partly because of the uncertainty of Love and I really don't like our chances against Golden State(given the current state of our team).

This team surprised me in the Bulls series. I honestly didn't expect to win that series with Love out and Irving hobbled. Given what I saw in the Bulls series, what we're doing to the Hawks doesn't surprise me. The Bulls matchup always scared me more than the Hawks did. Especially seeing how they handled the Nets and the Wizards. The Warriors are a different animal though.

I'm not really an "in the moment" guy so I guess that's why this whole Love thing is kind of souring this ride for me.

I tell you what though, if we don't re-sign Love it would be 10x worse to me than the Boozer debacle given both the caliber of player we traded to acquire him and the caliber of player Kevin is.

Lol, yes you do. Don't kid yourself :chuckle:

No honestly bro.. I really don't. We're watching the Cavaliers go to the Finals for the first time since LeBron took us there v.s. the Spurs (and we got swept).

I know if Love leaves, that vacuum will be filled by someone else.

It's just not that important. Not compared to the moment we find ourselves in right now.

We're on the verge of winning a title. Hell, not since the World Series have I been so confident that we can do this.

Girl I've been seeing lives in Little Tokyo. Personally, I like that part of town(Little Tokyo, DTLA, Warehouse District) far better than Hollywood or the Westside/Beach Cities.
Gour is a female?

Wait what?
