@MirORich is saying he's seeing a chick in Little Tokyo...
Oh; I see. I read his comment to you wrong. LOL

We should have each member in here state if male or female. I'm finding out members are females after years of posting. Doesn't really matter I guess, but it's kind of nice to know which gender one is. Females seem to be always smarter than males from my vast experience, so it would be great if we had lots of females in here.

No honestly bro.. I really don't. We're watching the Cavaliers go to the Finals for the first time since LeBron took us there v.s. the Spurs (and we got swept).

I know if Love leaves, that vacuum will be filled by someone else.

It's just not that important. Not compared to the moment we find ourselves in right now.

We're on the verge of winning a title. Hell, not since the World Series have I been so confident that we can do this.

Completely disagree. Every team sans GS has been beat up (we'll see how well that goes). If every team is healthy, things may be a bit different.

Unless LMA is a shoe-in to fill Love's spot, there is almost nobody else I'd rather have than Love, and losing him would be detrimental going forward, regardless if we win it all this year.

Why is it that the words that actually have come out of Love's mouth on repeated occasions, in utter crystal clarity, are so disregarded in favor of hear-say and rumor mongering? Is it just me, or is that just completely fucked up on the part of those who perpetuate such things?

That's cool...

I'm just not worried about it man...

I'm not worried about Love leaving at all. This is all coming from Windhorst's steaming windbag. "Kevin's a different personality, impossible to get a read on, withdrawn from the team."

Go back into the history of the game, study guys like Jerry Lucas, Dave Debusschere key pieces to championship teams; very very fucking weird personalities. Know who else you probably couldn't get an accurate read on Windy? Jerry West if you we're covering him as a beat reporter and he was a player. Think they want to feed you trolls?

The most you would get from a guy like Larry Bird was some trash talk that maybe turned into a sound bite, he was unabashed, but he wasn't going to be compliant and be your friend. Bare minimum, Popovich style answers, maybe some real trash talk.

Back to my larger point, some guys just don't want to comply with the media period. If I were in Kevin's shoes, I would do the same thing.

Give them nothing.

Kevin hasn't even made the playoffs yet, he's been in purgatory in Minnesota. I don't think he's in a rush to go back there via the Lakers

Rational Questions for you people:

I don't think Kevin is desperate to play with Rajon Rondo.

-Who the hell is really itching to get on Rondo's team?

-How about Kobe?

See what I'm saying. It's all media driven fucking bullshit. Kevin's ambiguity is the only proof of these guys' hypothesis.
That's fucking pathetic.

I'm not even going to call you journalists; you've devolved into TMZ style beat reporters who spew ambiguous "sources" churched up "contacts within organizations". Yeah, I know the fucking ball boy, he's my "insider within the Cavs locker room" who overheard some conversation. You guys keep spewing it, you guys keep collecting and churning this dead story.

Look at the smile on Kevin's face when the crowd gave him that ovation. Seriously, go look. This was his first playoffs, he's basically got a free ticket back to the NBA finals next year. He's got Dan Gilbert who will pay him a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g and everything.

Just fucking STOP. Can this story come to a grinding halt? Please!

Fuck.

No he's not.

Bold statement but so true. Top 5 players make others better around them. Wiggins has weak court vision and his stats don't support the claim many make about his defense. Go look up Waiters rookie stats. They look better then Wiggins. I'm not saying Waiters is better just saying pretty similar. Also is this the same Godfather from cavs fantastic back in the day.

It has started already. It's ok if Kevin Love walks because it's not like we gave up anything impressive or anything.

The 19 year old rookie of the year with crazy potential, on cheap salary is just going to be another journeyman player in this league. Too funny.

Will he be a top 5 player in the NBA within the next 5 years? I don't know. But I'll go out on a limb and say there is a better chance that he does than Love.

People say it's an ideal situation for him, but it's not. If it were "ideal" he wouldn't have been complaining year round. Not everyone wants to be a third wheel, especially not a guy with MVP aspirations.

Wait, what? I don't remember Kevin complaining and I don't remember him ever confessing MVP aspirations either.

I do remember him saying "I came to Cleveland because I want to win. I’ll grab a broom and sweep the floors if it gets me an NBA title," and "I would like to average a double-double. That's something that I've done throughout my career, but you have to understand that I'm not around the basket as much as I've been in the past. As long as we're winning, I'm fine," though.

Love is a proven player. Wiggins hasn't shown me anything yet. Nerlens Noel deserved the rookie of the year more than Wiggins. The hype made it impossible for it to work that way

Waiters' rookie stats "look better" than Wiggins and Nerlens Noel deserved ROY more than Wiggins. Care to elaborate? Are you basing this on differences in PER? In that case I suppose Hassan Whiteside deserved the MVP more than LeBron.

He was a 19 year old rookie, what do you expect him to put up a LeBron 20 5 5 ROY stat-line? The potential is there, the salary is low, and that is all that matters at the moment.

This isn't a Love vs Wiggins debate. This is me responding to the posts that insinuate we didn't give anything of importance up if heaven forbid Kevin walks.

I hope you were saying the same thing about 20 year old rookie Kevin Love who played roughly the same amount of games with roughly equal usage rate as Andrew Wiggins.

Does usage rate always correlate to how successful an NBA player will be? If it did every GM would use it in order to determine what free agents to sign. I am sure it doesn't take into account a load of variables but I am too tired to look it up at the moment.

Wiggins 36.2 mins 16.9 PTS 4.6 TRB 2.1 ast Waiters 28.8 mins 14.7 PTS 2.4 TRB 3.0 ast. Waiters didn't need to put up 36 mins to get 3 ast and Waiters per 36 has him putting up 18.3 pts per game highter rate of points and ast. Wiggins plays 36 minutes a game and only had 2 double doubles all season. I posted these stats on another forum site but I will put them here for you Noel had 21 double doubles and 9 of them were the last full month of the season also put up 13.47 PTS and 10.94 TRB the last full month as well. Noels per 36 has him putting up 2.0 ast 2.1 stl and 2.3 blocks which I've never seen before and his DRtg was 99

All that this tells me is that you never watched Wiggins play.
