Knicks want Wally

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No, Wally is our key to Vinsanity.

Remember Rule #1 everyone. NO KNICKS!

The only knick who is remotely interesting is David Lee, but he had a drop across on the board on all of his stats, he might have been a one year wonder.

Screw it, NO KNICKS.

Thorn, give me Vinsanity. I demand it!

Well it wouldn't neccesarily be a second stint since he was dealt on draft night.

Anyway, if a deal like THIS presented it self would you turn it down? We would then be looking at this line up:

Delonte / Daniel
Jamal / MLE
LeBron / Jeffries or MLE
Ben Wallace / Joe Smith
Z / Andy

My perfect off season would to be trade for Crawford.. split the MLE between Delfino and Evans... and possibly down the line trade Andy.

Or as an alt to our Big man line-up we could take out Andy all together and go with..

Smith/Hickson/That one other guy we got
Z/Ben

I would take crawford in a heartbeat over Shit-bag... i mean szcerbiak

And don't we have Sasha as a backup if things go too bad?

Why would anyone want a knick? Thsi has got to be the backup plan at the trade dealine if there is no way to get someone who is legit then sure use wally to get Crawford or Randolph, better than nothing. The whole knicks team, beside Lee, is just a mess mentally, some habits are hard to undo after years of doing them.

Any deal made with the Knicks at this point in time would be an act of complete desperation by Ferry. Crawford and Zach Randolph are only #2 options if your team is losing 50 games a year.

Guys of that caliber are always available. It's not like this is a limited time only offer and they are going to be pulled off the market if Ferry doesn't act now.

If there isn't a no-brainer deal out there to be made, Ferry needs to keep Wally and let things play out. Inevitably, some All Star caliber players that may be untouchable now will be very much available by the time February rolls around. It happens every year and the Cavs need to be in a position to actually pounce on that kind of situation this time around.

I would absolutely go psycho on Ferry if he made your trade!!!!!

Jeffries is one of the most grossly overpaid players in the league! The fact that he even made it to the league always amazes me... it's like the dude is in to some sort of witchcraft/magic that blinds GM's to the fact that he is one of the worst shooters in the entire league!

If he has a redeeming quality, it's that he is 6'11. But even at that height, he can only manage a little more than one and a half rebounds per 20 minutes. 52% FT%!!! And he is a SF??? He is one of those players that should be (at the most) the 12th-15th player off the bench!

Guys of "that caliber" are "always" available???????????????

Ummmm... Just because Thomas was a total idiot does NOT mean that the Knicks' players are all a bunch of D-Leaguers!

The biggest knock on Thomas was that the Knicks had so much talent, and that it was all going to waste under his leadership!

Jamal Crawford is legit, and at 8 million per year, easily "earns" his paycheck; Zach Randolph is one of the few legit 20-10 guys in the entire league... players of his caliber ARE NOT "always" available! In-fact, the only other 20-10 guy that was given a contract this summer, received a max-deal.

If we could get Zach and Jamal in a deal where we were only giving-up Wally & filler, THAT would NOT be a "desperation" move!!!!

A 20-10 PF, who is only 26, with 7 years experience in the NBA and a SG who is 6'5, and scores 20 per game and is only 28. If you remove the fact that they play for the knicks, people are jumping all over these two!

If Ferry got them both in a deal where Wally was the centerpiece, that wouldn't be an act of desperation... "that" would be a Coup-De-Gra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:puke: He don't play D.

I'm tired of brining in defensive personell. We need offense! You can teach defense, you don't teach offense. If Ray Allen can play D, Jamal can to.

I don't know why some of you are locked onto Randolph and his dysfunctional personality. 'Z' and Randolph would be the slowest front court in the NBA with 'Z' having to help out Randolph defensively which isn't a benefit. Randolph is such a magnet for trouble off the court that I don't believe that Ferry would consider him to potentially embarrass the organization.

Even Randolph's team mates don't even like him. I remember the time when Randolph sucker punched Ruben Patterson in practice which wasn't a team building event.

Even with Vince Carter's bad contract, he still has enough left to help sell tickets and to be an effective number two scoring option next to Lebron.

Even though Crawford is somewhat of a chucker from three point land -- he does fit Mike Browns desire for a bigger guard that can pass the ball well when the mood strikes him. His defense could use improvement, but if coach Brown could make Gooden look decent he can do the same for Crawford defensively. The CAVs should insist on Lee to take these bad contracts off the Knicks hands as a replacement for Varejao when they trade him.

Since 'Z' doesn't have much time on the clock left -- getting a guy like Curry might be prudent given that he already has a lot of experience for his age and can score. As I stated before about Mike Brown making Gooden look decent defensively, I think he could do the same for Curry from the Knicks and I know that he is friends with Lebron which couldn't hurt the CAVs goal of retaining Lebron either.

You don't think Crawford could be LeBrons side kick? I don't mean Crawford will be Pippen, it just seems thats the term everyone uses these days for side kick.

I do like Crawford but let's ease up on the Pippen comparison ;)
I don't want to say he's selfish but he certainly plays better when he's doing his thing as opposed to playing within a team concept. That's just what I've seen from Crawford. Tons of talent, but only when he's going solo

Crawford might be a combo guard but at 6'5 that is a lot easier to deal with then a 6'2 combo guard. With Crawford's scoring ability and ability to handle the ball he might be a pretty good fit considering we'll probably have West at the PG position. Typically the lack of a true PG isn't the best way to go but a team with two pretty good guards in West and Crawford coupled with Lebron might work pretty well. The problem comes in that to operate a less then conventional set up like that the offensive system become even more important.

I agree with the rule of no Knicks, but change it to no Knicks except David Lee because he is a monster.
