I guess he had a rough Pro Day at Pitt, dropping his stock:

He's one of 6 UDFA rookies on the roster, along will Crowell, Agnew, and Taylor Gabriel, talk about great talent evaluation!

Why do we even bother using our first rd picks? We are so much better at finding UDFA's.

CBS had him ranked #930 overall and #92 at his position.

Wasn't he the guy who got roasted by Wright for the first TD of the game last week? He had the announcers talking about how poor his technique was, and how you can't do what he did in the NFL.

For one, I think the defensive playcall was poor - they were clearly not in a position to defend the screen. Secondly, he was in position to make the tackle, but got too ambitious. Simple fix for this one: force the receiver to make the play, don't over pursue. Drive him inside and get help from the middle of the defense:

A difficult play in the open field, but one he needs to make.
