Best thing about this tourney for me is it reconfirmed that Kyrie is at his best alongside other great players. Much like the all-star game, when he is around talent his play only gets elevated.

I think its due to how well rounded his skill-set is. If you think about it offensively he has it all - deep range, midrange, handle, pull-up, spot-up, floater, vision, etc. You put that next to Lebron + Love = oh my.

Laker fans are now reminding me of the Knicks fans of the past 10 years. I look forward to one of them saying they'll trade us Jeremy Lin and Nick Young for Kyrie and then fellow Laker fans sounding the alarms because that's far too much.

Kyrie Irving out indefinitely with 3rd degree burns on 35% of his body after horrific flamethrower display accident during World Cup game...

Awesome to see the potential Kyrie starting to emerge. This last season with him was just such a disappointment, to see that complete game coming back and him beginning to reach his potential is great. Funny how so many in the NBA forgot after even just one year.

Here's a fun question I was discussing with a friend yesterday:

How long (if ever) before Kyrie leads this Cavs team in Scoring? (assuming Love stays long-term)

My prediction is within 3 years.

I base this on my thinking that, as Lebron begins to lose his athleticism, he'll morph even more into a point-forward facilitator-type role, with Kyrie taking over more of the scoring while continuing to play off the ball. I also think Lebron will see his highest APG numbers of his career as he ages. I still think Love is the 3rd option on offense for the foreseeable future.

It's about time the internet populace gets better at spotting trolling. Account is very clearly trolling and the funny thing he isn't trolling Cavs fans, he's trolling Laker fans who kept up the Kyrie to L.A. stuff right up and until he signed an extension.

This World Cup was huge for Kyrie, not just for the experience, but for his confidence and building winning habits. He hasn't really ever got to feel what it is like to have team success before, and I could tell in the presser that he was really excited about it. I think it will put a drive and fire in him that we haven't seen yet. And of course being able to play and share the ball with other talented players will be huge coming into the season since we have LeBron and Love now.

Kyrie is set to have a break out year like never before. I think Dion and Love will too for that matter, but I think Kyrie will go to another level. The motivation of playing for a winning team, playing on national TV, playing in front of super energized fans, and taking the pressure off him to not have to be the leader and the defense can't focus in on him like he used to when he had to go 1 on 5. He is about to explode.
