I never said LeBron's ability to make his teammates better wasn't overhyped. I simply said he did make them better. To what degree is the part that is up for debate.

No worries tho, we have Kyrie Irving now and he IS going to be a superstar!
I don't care that you disagree. But you're doing it in such a cunty fashion that it makes me question how big your labia fls are.

From me to you, in all sincerity, stop being such a gigantic cunt. Go back to not posting or be more constructive with your posts. Being a negative twat doesn't work for anyone who wants to be taken seriously (see Kahn, Genghis: Hitler, Adolf)

I got it - create a new handle!

Triumph is a good poster. I like him and his points are almost always valid, and I especially like that they are similar to my own in that they are almost always realistic rather than than ludicrously optimistic like a lot of the people around here ("Thompson will be a future STAR in this league!!!" etc). That being said, the past while he has certainly been a bit on the pushy side. Should probably tone it down a little.

But his points are entirely valid.

I'm sure Triumph is a good person. He makes solid posts and doesn't ( should say didn't) troll. But he has slowly turned into a heel and trolls the shit out of these boards.

Cool it on the c-word brotha... Also, while I haven't been keeping track of Triumph's body of work, I find it odd that this seems to have been the last straw for you. You must really hate that cunt- whoops! Freudian cunt!

Anyway, to the topic at hand. I have really enjoyed getting a look at Kyrie so far and I'm excited to see where his potential goes. If it is possible for us to pair him with an elite big man, most likely through the draft, we could be seeing the beginnings of our first championship team. What I really want to see, other than this kid getting his stroke going, is more time with him and Tristan on the floor together. Since being drafted together and both showing such promise, I can't but think this is a combo we could be seeing succeed for years to come.

Watching that game-winner roll off the rim was hard to watch. Even though nobody was really near him, I could imagine a certain someone screaming for a foul after a play like that. But Irving does seem to have fantastic composure, and I hope that kind of philosophy carries through for the rest of this team during his stay. It's much better to win and be classy. But for now I'll settle for close losses.

Edit: Forgot to bold a cunt!

i love kyries pick and roll game with varejao. hes talented enough to make the floater in the paint while also making the right decision and passing to varejao when it is appropriate. some of his passes were really pretty. i definitely see chemistry forming between kyrie and andy. we scored lots of points off of this pick n roll vs detroit. kyrie also has great awareness to find the open shooter etc.

To echo what everyone has been saying, Kyrie is the next face of the franchise and he seems to have such a calm demeanor which I love about him. His handles are what really make him a special kind of player, but Frank Reynolds is right when he said he isn't even shooting well! He was a great shooter in high school and college so it really has me excited! Add that to the fact that he has so many of his assists missed by open shots he has been able to get people, he could average 20 5 and 5 by the end of the year (not the whole year, just for stretches). I have been really surprised how good of a rebounding point guard he has been so far. Between him and Tristan, we have a lot of talent there! Exciting time to be a Cavs fan!

I agree! You really see how soft Andy's hands are and how much Kyrie trusts that so he tries to do some really creative passes. Once they have even more time, they will be a thing of beauty. It saddens me that we will probably trade Andy and whatever we get back won't match everything he does for this team with his hustle, defense, and developing offensive game.

No need for the personal stuff about Triumph, and no need for this thread to move away from Kyrie Irving. So let's get back on track.

Very curious to see if Kyrie continues his strong play against two weaker teams at home because the 7-game road trip is going to be rough. I hope he doesn't try to do too much against the Nets and instead just plays his game.

I didn't post that. Someone hacked my account...:chuckles:

I think this is why we'll see the FO hang onto Andy as long as they can (until they get an offer they can't turn down). Andy is a very positive veteran leader for this team. He is great in the pick & roll, which is only going to help Kyrie develop as a PG and Tristan as a PF. I fully expect Tristan and Kyrie to be destroying people with the P&R in the near future.

Watching these two guys play so far, I can't even imagine what putting Drummond into this mix would do. Suddenly the Cavs would have a scoring big, a defensive/slashing big, and a franchise PG. With those three guys in place, it would be rather easy to fit the right guys in on the wing. There's certainly plenty of guys in this draft that could immensely help the Cavs out, but I feel like getting Drummond would be the easiest way to guarantee long term success. Wings are the easiest players to find, especially when you're drafting in the 10-20 range. Hell, think of how many open looks someone like Boobie would get playing with Kyrie and a guy like Drummond.

You know if we had a Kyrie on our team when we drafted the bitch from Akron then Kyrie would have had the ball in his hands as opposed to LeBron which would have forced LeBron to develop another part of his game. Instead we had trash PG's, and it forced LeBron to be the PG for the majority of his career until we had Mo on our team, but at that point LeBron was way to set in his ways. My point is now that we have that PG, let's go out and get our next LeBron. The wings in this draft run very deep after the dominant bigs go.

Man imagine our defensive FC. Tristan and Drummond together would dominate defensively.

Yes, but none of them will sniff LeBron's jock because quite frankly LeBron is a once in a generation talent.

Obviously not, but it has been 9 drafts since that once in a generation talent was drafted, so it's not impossible that a once in a generation talent shows up. Then again it was almost 20 years between Jordan and LBJ.

I think it would form something like what nash and stoudemire had. Except I don't think Drummond can shoot like amare
