For me the problem with trading Kyrie with this current makeup is that we need to be consolidating talent to the top of the roster to be on the court as much as possible- not spreading it out more 1-15.
Even thought is was a down year for the Draft the previous season we did not really have a lot of room in the rotation for the #1, #19 and #33 picks. As of right now we'll be adding another #1 and #33 to the mix also.
I don't see getting back 1:1 talent for Kyrie which means we are spreading things out even further and keeping more talent/assets off the court.
However if he's not going to re-sign or you have reasons to think he is a problem then your decision is already made for you and you go from there.
