They should have Kyrie throw the 1st pitch...with Dion batting. Irving throws one high and tight, brushing Dion's chin. Dion flips his shit and charges the mound to raucous cheers from the crowd. Brawl for the ages ensues. Years of frustration are hammered out one cathartic haymaker at a time. Only one will be left standing.

There can only be one.

End scene.

Dion would beat Kyrie's ass.

Only an absolute idiot would boo Kyrie throwing out the first pitch at the Indian's game. I think it's cool Kyrie agreed to throw out the first pitch... It seems to me at least that Kyrie has got his act together since the middle of the season..

HIs caption to the photo: #ClevelandPride got a chance to go through BP with the Indians. So grateful to get the opportunity to be with the team and coaches. 1st pitch not to far behind lol..

Double...oops. But Kyrie does seem to be enjoying Cleveland. He went overboard on fan night on the last home game this year for the fans. The Cleveland's Kid post at the end of the season, throwing out the first pitch at the tribe game, talking about Cleveland pride in his instagram post about the Indian's game tonight... Also, all the shit about him wanting to leave was just overblown by the media for some reason, whether it be to try to get him to leave or to piss off Cavs fans... It all originated from Windy. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he has been frustrated with the losing here in the past and complained to friends/family but I doubt he actually wanted to leave.

I'm not the biggest Kyrie fan in the world, but you'd have to be a complete moron to boo him tonight at the Indians game. If you're there, you cheer him as loud as you possibly can.

He went overboard on fan night because he walked out on it the year before.

Yes he did... I'm just saying, that's a good look. I'm just saying, he's cleaned up his act since the All-star break imo.

Windy seemed to dramatically change his tune regarding the Cavs at some point this past season, where he now routinely bad mouths them. I think Jason Lloyd also changed his tune, and notice some of the local radio talking heads have suddenly joined in the venom. Was it because of the Grant firing? Was Grant a source for many, including Windy and Jason?

Anyway, remember who wrote those stories and let's discuss their credibility when the Cavs offers Kyrie the max and Kyrie accepts, all in less than a month (unless holding off would benefit some possible sign and trades, free agent signings, etc. from a cap perspective).

[I don't remember a non playoff team generating such national negative press unless, of course, it's done as a preemptive strike to try to deter James' return here].

I think the Mike Brown fiasco really hurt Cleveland's national reputation. You hire a guy, fire him, hire that guy to a big 5 year deal and fire him.

In addition, last year basically became a lost year in development for a lot of young guys due to the addition of a misfit FA class and a poor coach for young players.

And I'm sure that process has worn on Kyrie. Hopefully we figure it out this offseason and make quality moves.

Lost year in development?

I dont think so . for the first time the team was actually able to work on functioning as a team and there was some noticeable growth.

Neither Bennett (with his off season shoulder surgery ) nor Karasev were expected to be big impact players coming into last years team. Im not talking about fan expectation but for the organization.

Irving, Waiters, Thompson and Zeller were the focus of the team development last season with delladoa being a bonus.

Irving had alot of growing pains trying to expand his game and relatively struggled.. Thompson the same. Waiters and Zeller both made noticeable improvements on both ends of their game and as a team players.

This season will be a bit different. either embiid, parker or Wiggins when they come in will be expected to make an impact. Bennet and to point karasev will also be expected to be implemented more significantly into the rotation.

What we did see was veteran guys like deng and hawes can make an impact on this team so its time the cavs start bringing in a stronger veteran presence so we can see what waiters and irving can do together that contibute to winning not just nice stat lines

Bottom line Is how awesome Is It we have the number one pick along side those projects as well. I mean... Bennet, Embiid,Wiggins, Waiters, Parker, and Irving. with a possible shot at LeBron "Again" You almost can not go wrong here and It give Kyrie all the "lore" he needs to resign here. I mean one way or another Kyrie will have a superstar player here sooner or later. He will be the second option though... I do not think he will mind.

Coach Brown was originally contracted for a "1-year defense and film teaching course".

However, the organization couldn't sign him for only 1 year. Why?

If he was contracted for 1 year only, the players (Kyrie, Dion, TT, AB) wouldn't have bought into the system as much as they did. They felt stuck with Brown and accepted his teachings willingly.

The Cavs couldn't contract Brown for 1 year or else the players would have rejected his system. Brown was overpaid, true, but the players were manipulated into playing good defense!

I don't believe this, but I really enjoyed your post.
